IUB established multiple departmental exhibition at the Cholistan Jeep Rally 2026.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, in collaboration with District Administration Bahawalpur, set up various stalls of departments at Dilwash Stadium Derawar on the occasion of Cholistan Jeep Rally 2026. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a large and historic university of the region which has completed its 100 years. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is working hard to highlight culture, industry and crafts along with education. In this regard, modern research, local arts and academic excellence were demonstrated through a series of special stalls on the occasion of Cholistan Jeep Rally. University College of Art and Design celebrated Jeep Rally with the theme of desert soil. University College of Art and Design exhibited artworks, textiles and handicrafts that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Cholistan. The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment and the Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies presented important research on drought-tolerant crops, desert forests and sustainable farming suitable for arid climates. The Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences provided awareness and training on the health and management of Cholistan livestock, which is the backbone of Cholistan’s economy. The stalls of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences provided basic health screening and health guidance to people living in the desert. The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management promoted the historical significance of Qila Derawar and the potential for winter and eco-tourism in the region.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ضلعی انتظامیہ بہاولپور کے ساتھ اشتراک سے چولستان جیپ ریلی 2026 کے موقع پر دلواش اسٹیڈیم درواڑ میں شعبہ جات کے مختلف سٹالز لگائے۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور خطے کی بڑی اور تاریخی جامعہ ہے جو اپنے 100 سال مکمل کر چکی ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور تعلیم کے ساتھ ساتھ ثقافت اور صنعت و حرفت کو بھی نمایاں طور پر اجاگر کرنے کے لیے بڑھ چڑھ کر کام کررہی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں چولستان جیپ ریلی کے موقع پر مخصوص اسٹالز کی ایک سیریز کے ذریعے جدید تحقیق مقامی فنون اور علمی کمالات کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن نے صحرا کی مٹی کے تھیم کے ساتھ جیپ ریلی کا جشن منایا ہے یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن نے فن پاروں ٹیکسٹائلز اور دستکاریوں کی نمائش کی جو چولستان کی بھرپور ثقافتی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔ فیکلٹی آف زراعت اور ماحولیات و چولستان انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ڈیزرٹ اسٹڈیز نے خشک سالی سے بچنے والی فصلوں صحرائی جنگلات اور خشک آب و ہوا کے لیے موزوں پائیدار کاشتکاری سے متعلق اہم تحقیق پیش کی ہے۔ فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اور اینیمل سائنسز نے چولستانی مویشیوں کی صحت اور انتظام کے بارے میں آگاہی اور تربیت فراہم کی جو چولستان کی معیشت میں ریڑھ کی ہڈی کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔ فیکلٹی آف  فارمیسی اور الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے سٹالز نے صحت کی بنیادی اسکریننگ اور صحرا میں رہنے والےلوگوں کو صحت کے بارے میں رہنمائی فراہم کی۔ شعبہ ٹورازم اینڈ ہاسپیٹلٹی مینجمنٹ نے قلعہ ڈراوڑ کی تاریخی اہمیت اور خطے میں سرمائی و ماحولیاتی سیاحت کے امکانات کو فروغ دیا۔
