IUB Flood Relief Cell has set up a free medical and veterinary medical camp in Basti Salahan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Flood Relief Cell has set up a free medical and veterinary medical camp in Basti Salahan, affected by the Sutlej River. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran sent a medical and veterinary team from Abbasia Campus to the flood-affected areas with equipment and an ambulance. Focal Person Flood Relief Cell Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha and Director Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid were present on the occasion. The Vice Chancellor said that the Flood Relief Cell of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has been active for the last two weeks. So far, more than 600 families have been provided dry rations. Ration will be provided to 1000 more families next week. The team of the medical, veterinary and psychology departments of the university is continuing its work in Mari Qasim Shah, Abbas Nagar, Basti Salahan, Baqirpur and other affected areas. In total, more than 500 volunteer students are working in Bahawalpur division.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور فلڈ ریلیف سیل کی جانب سے دریائے ستلج سے متاثرہ بہاولپور شہر کی نواحی بستی سالاہاں میں فری میڈیکل اور ویٹرنری میڈیکل کیمپ لگایا گیا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے عباسیہ کیمپس میں میڈیکل اور ویٹرنری ٹیم کو ادویات اور ایمبولینس کے ساتھ سیلاب متاثرہ علاقوں میں روانہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر فوکل پرسن فلڈ ریلیف سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا اور ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد موجود تھے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا فلڈ ریلیف سیل گزشتہ دو ہفتے سے فعال ہے۔ اب تک 600 سے زائد خاندانوں کو خشک راشن فراہم کیا گیا ہے۔ آئندہ ہفتے مزید 1000 خاندانوں کے لیے راشن مہیا کیا جائے گا۔ یونیورسٹی کی میڈیکل، ویٹرنری اور شعبہ نفسیات کی ٹیم ماڑی قاسم شاہ، عباس نگر، بستی سالاہاں، باقر پور اور دیگر متاثرہ علاقوں میں اپنا کام جاری رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔ مجموعی طور پر 500 سے زائد رضا کار طلباوطالبات بہاولپور ڈویژن میں کام کررہے ہیں۔
