IUB has secured the 406th position globally and 14th in Pakistan in UI Green Matric Ranking 2023

The Islamia University Bahawalpur has secured the 406th position globally and 14th in Pakistan in UI Green Matric Ranking 2023. Director Quality Enhancement Cell Professor Dr. Asadullah Madani has said that 1183 universities participated in this ranking globally and Islamia University Bahawalpur secured 406th position. Similarly, at the national level, a total of 68 Pakistani universities participated and Islamia University Bahawalpur came 14th across Pakistan and second in South Punjab.  Islamia University Bahawalpur had secured the 24th position in the same ranking last year.The  Islamia University of Bahawalpur has improved ten ranks at the national level and 168 ranks at the global level by showing an impressive performance in this ranking.  Last year, Islamia University Bahawalpur was ranked 584th nationally.  Vice-Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Naveed Akhtar appreciated the national and global ranking of Islamia University Bahawalpur۔ The Vice-Chancellor said that the Green Campus project is doing excellent work under the guidance of Dr. Abid Gill and his team.  The Vice Chancellor has also appreciated the performance of Dr. Muhammad Latif Principal Officer State Care and his team.  He said that in the last few years, the University has demonstrated sustainable development in infrastructure, energy, climate change, waste management, water resources and education.  The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the performance of the Quality Enhancement Cell team on the preparation and elaboration of data for the ranking.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے یو آئی گرین میٹرک رینکنگ 2023 میں عالمی سطح پر 406 ویں اور پاکستان میں 14 ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے۔ ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسد اللہ مدنی نے کہا ہے کہ عالمی سطح پر 1183 جامعات نے اس رینکنگ میں حصہ لیا اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے 406 ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اسی طرح قومی سطح پر کل 68 پاکستانی جامعات نے حصہ لیا اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پاکستان بھر میں 14 ویں اور جنوبی پنجاب میں دوسری پوزیشن پر آئی۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے گزشتہ سال اسی رینکنگ میں 24 ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی تھی۔ جامعہ اسلامیہ نے اس رینکنگ میں متاثر کن کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے قومی سطح پر دس درجے اور عالمی سطح پر 168 درجے ترقی کی ہے۔ گزشتہ سال اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور قومی سطح پر 584 ویں پوزیشن پر آئی تھی۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے گرین کیمپس اور ماحول دوست یونیورسٹی کے طور پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی قومی اور عالمی رینکنگ کو سراہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ میں گرین کیمپس پراجیکٹ بھی کام کررہا ہے جو کو سرسبز و شاداب اور ماحول دوست رکھنے کے لیے ایک مکمل پراجیکٹ ہے اور فعال انداز میں کام کررہا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ گرین کیمپس پراجیکٹ ڈاکٹر عابد شہزاد اور ان کی ٹیم کی راہنمائی میں بہترین کام کر رہا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ڈاکٹر محمد لطیف پرنسپل آفیسر اسٹیٹ کیئر اور ان کی ٹیم کی کارکردگی کو بھی سراہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ چند برسوں میں جامعہ نے انفرنسٹرکچر، انرجی، کلائمیٹ چینج، ویسٹ مینجمنٹ، واٹر ریسورسز اور ایجوکیشن میں پائیدار ترقی کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے رینکنگ کے لیے اعدادو شمار کی تیاری اور تفصیل پر کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل کی ٹیم کی کارکردگی کو سراہا ہے۔
