The Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, in collaboration with Rehlah International, successfully organized a symposium on Religious Tourism in Pakistan at the Audio Video Conference Room, Khawaja Ghulam Farid Auditorium, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Shaikh Shafiq ur Rehman, Dean, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies and Prof. Dr. Zia ur Rehman, Chairman Department of Qur'ānic Studies. Distinguished scholars and experts, including Dr. Rana Tanveer Qasim, Associate Professor Department of Islamic Studies, UET Lahore, Dr. Sajila Kausar, Chairperson, Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, and Dr. Muhammad Khubaib, Associate Professor, Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, addressed the participants and shared valuable insights on the potential of religious tourism in promoting interfaith harmony, cultural understanding, heritage preservation, and sustainable development in Pakistan. Faculty members, researchers, students, and representatives from various academic and social organizations actively participated in the symposium, making it a vibrant platform for intellectual discourse and constructive dialogue. The event reaffirmed the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, intercultural understanding, and meaningful engagement with contemporary societal issues.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے شعبہ عالمی مذاہب اور بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی نے رحلہ انٹرنیشنل کے تعاون سے آڈیو ویڈیو کانفرنس روم، خواجہ غلام فرید آڈیٹوریم، بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں پاکستان میں مذہبی سیاحت کے موضوع پر ایک سمپوزیم کا کامیاب انعقاد کیا۔ یہ تقریب پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران، وائس چانسلر، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن، ڈین، فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربی سٹڈیز اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیاء الرحمن، چیئرمین شعبہ قرآنی علوم کی سرپرستی میں منعقد ہوئی۔ ممتاز سکالرز اور ماہرین جن میں ڈاکٹر رانا تنویر قاسم، ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر شعبہ اسلامک سٹڈیز، یو ای ٹی لاہور، ڈاکٹر سجیلا کوثر، چیئرپرسن، شعبہ عالمی مذاہب اور بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی، اور ڈاکٹر محمد خبیب، ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، شعبہ عالمی مذاہب اور بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی نے خطاب کیا۔ پاکستان میں بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی، ثقافتی افہام و تفہیم، ورثے کے تحفظ اور پائیدار ترقی کو فروغ دینے میں مذہبی سیاحت کے امکانات پر فیکلٹی ممبران، محققین، طلباءوطالبات، اور مختلف تعلیمی اور سماجی تنظیموں کے نمائندوں نے سمپوزیم میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیا، جس سے یہ فکری گفتگو اور تعمیری مکالمے کے لیے ایک متحرک پلیٹ فارم بن گیا۔ اس تقریب نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے تعلیمی فضیلت، بین الثقافتی افہام و تفہیم اور عصری سماجی مسائل کے ساتھ بامعنی مشغولیت کو فروغ دینے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
