Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is playing a significant role in the promotion of higher education in the country. These views were expressed by the Federal Minister while talking to the faculty and staff members on the occasion of visiting the stall of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on the occasion of the educational exhibition held in Islamabad. He said that this historical university of South Punjab is creating thousands of highly educated manpower along with the social and economic development of the region. He appreciated the educational programs and teaching and research activities at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in more than 300 subjects at BS, MPhil and PhD level. The Federal Minister said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is also very prominent in the e-bike scheme of the Chief Minister of Punjab. On this occasion, the head of the delegation lecturer department of English literature Muzamil Fayyaz informed the Federal Minister that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has 6 campuses and 2.5 MW solar park is functional. Protocol Officer Asad Naeem while explaining about the number of students in Jamia Islamia said that 18 thousand students are graduating this year. Lecturer Institute of Physics Abdul Majid and Call Center Representative Bilal Mehmood were also present on this occasion. In the exhibition, a large number of students and parents visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur stall and expressed interest in the educational programs.

وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات عطاء اللہ تارڑ نے کہا ہے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ملک میں اعلیٰ تعلیم کے فروغ میں نمایاں کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار وفاقی وزیر نے اسلام آباد میں منعقد ہونے والی تعلیمی نمائش کے موقع پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے سٹال کے دورے کے موقع پر اساتذہ اور سٹاف ممبران سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جنوبی پنجاب کی یہ تاریخی یونیورسٹی علاقے کی سماجی اور معاشی ترقی کے ساتھ ساتھ ہزاروں کی تعداد میں اعلیٰ تعلیم یافتہ افرادی قوت پیدا کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں 300 سے زائد مضامین میں بی ایس، ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی سطح کے تعلیمی پروگراموں اور تدریسی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کو سراہا۔ وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کی ای بائیک سکیم میں بھی بہت نمایاں ہے۔ اس موقع پر وفد کے سربراہ مزمل فیاض لیکچرار نے وفاقی وزیر کو آگاہ کیا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے 6 کمیپسز ہیں اور 2.5 میگا واٹ کا سولر پارک فنکشنل ہے۔ پروٹوکول آفیسر اسد نعیم نے جامعہ اسلامیہ میں طلباو طالبات کی تعداد سے متعلق بتاتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس سال 18 ہزار طلبا و طالبات فارغ التحصیل ہورہے ہیں۔ اس موقع پر لیکچرار انسٹیٹیوٹ آف فزکس عبدالماجد اور سی سی آر بلال محمود بھی موجود تھے۔ نمائش میں طلباء و طالبات اور والدین کی بڑی تعداد نے جامعہ اسلامیہ کے سٹال کا دورہ کیا اور تعلیمی پروگراموں میں دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔
