The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, is currently observing Defence and Martyrs Day with a series of dedicated events. In this connection, a special rally to pay tribute to the Shuhada of the Armed Forces was held at the Abbasia Campus. Faculty, students, and the Vice Chancellor participated by chanting slogans in honor of the Pakistan Armed Forces and their enduring bravery. In his message on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor paid rich tribute to the martyrs, emphasizing that our armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the motherland against any threat. He highlighted that whether in the past, present, or future, they have and always will secure clear and decisive victories, referencing the recent triumph in May 2025 as a testament to their unmatched valor. Additionally, faculty members expressed that the Armed Forces are the real defenders of not only the geography, but also the ideology of Pakistan, affirming their deep pride in the military.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورپروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی ہدایت پر تمام کیمپسز میں یوم دفاع و شہدا پاک فوج کی مناسبت سےمختلف تقریبات منا ئی جارہی ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں عباسیہ کیمپس میں یوم دفاع اورمسلح افواج کے شہدا کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرنے کے لیے خصوصی ریلی نکالی گئی۔ وائس چانسلر ،فیکلٹی، طلباء وطالبات نے پاکستان کی مسلح افواج اور ان کی لازوال بہادری کے اعزاز میں نعرے لگاتے ہوئے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر اپنے پیغام میں وائس چانسلر نے شہداء کو زبردست خراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ہماری مسلح افواج کسی بھی خطرے سے نمٹنے کے لیے مادر وطن کے دفاع کے لیے پوری طرح تیار ہیں۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ چاہے ماضی میں ہو، حال میں یا مستقبل میں، ان کے پاس واضح اور فیصلہ کن فتوحات ہیں اور ہمیشہ رہیں گے، مئی 2025 میں حالیہ فتح کو ان کی بے مثال بہادری کے ثبوت کے طور پر حوالہ دیتے ہیں۔ مزید برآں، فیکلٹی ممبران نے اس بات کا اظہار کیا کہ مسلح افواج نہ صرف جغرافیہ بلکہ نظریہ پاکستان کی بھی حقیقی محافظ ہیں، جو فوج پر اپنے گہرے فخر کی تصدیق کرتی ہیں۔
