IUB organized a free medical camp in Village 8/BC Bahawalpur under its Rural Community Development Training Program.

The Department of Social Work Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized a free medical camp in village 8/ BC Bahawalpur under its Rural Community Development Training Program (Village Training Program). This activity was carried out by the students of semester 6 and 7 of the Department of Social Work in collaboration with Women Healthcare Center and Maternity Home, Ehsan Trust Young Doctors Association and local volunteers. The aim of the camp was to provide free medical facilities to the rural population. The camp was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Department of Social Work, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha and Dr. Mansoor Ali Shah, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work. Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha appreciated the efforts of the students of semester 6 and 7 for the successful organization of the Village Training Program. During the camp, more than 200 patients were examined free of cost and medicines were provided to them free of cost.  Free medicines were provided by Ehsan Trust, Kamran Ehsan Aqib Cheema and his team played a major role in the arrangements and facilitation of the camp. The team from Women’s Healthcare Center and Maternity Home Islamia University of Bahawalpur participated under the leadership of Dr. Sheikh Safina Siddique. The paramedical staff included dispensers Irfan Muhammad Aslam Zahra and Gul Naz. Doctors from Young Doctors Association Bahawalpur and Bahawal Victoria Hospital also participated, including Dr. Kashif Safdar, Dr. Amna Arif, Dr. Shahzad Irshad and Dr. Anam Aslam.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے شعبہ سوشل ورک نے اپنے رورل کمیونٹی ڈیولپمنٹ ٹریننگ پروگرام (ولیج ٹریننگ پروگرام) کے تحت گاؤں آٹھ بی سی بہاولپور میں ایک فری میڈیکل کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا۔ یہ سرگرمی شعبہ سوشل ورک کے سمیسٹر ششم اور ہفتم کے طلبہ نے ویمن ہیلتھ کیئر سینٹر اینڈ میٹرنٹی ہوم احسان ٹرسٹ ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن اور مقامی رضاکاروں کے تعاون سے سر انجام دی۔ کیمپ کا مقصد دیہی آبادی کو مفت طبی سہولیات فراہم کرنا تھا۔ کیمپ کا افتتاح شعبہ سوشل ورک کے چیئرمین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا اور ڈاکٹر منصور علی شاہ اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر شعبہ سوشل ورک نے کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے ولیج ٹریننگ پروگرام کے کامیاب انعقاد پر سمیسٹر ششم اور ہفتم کے طلبہ کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ کیمپ کے دوران 200 سے زائد مریضوں کا مفت طبی معائنہ کیا گیا اور انہیں بلا معاوضہ ادویات فراہم کی گئیں۔ مفت ادویات احسان ٹرسٹ کی جانب سے فراہم کی گئیں، کامران احسان عاقب چیمہ اور ان کی ٹیم نے کیمپ کے انتظامات اور سہولت کاری میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ویمن ہیلتھ کیئر سینٹر اینڈ میٹرنٹی ہوم اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی ٹیم ڈاکٹر شیخ صفینہ صدیق کی سربراہی میں شریک ہوئی۔ پیرا میڈیکل اسٹاف میں ڈسپنسر عرفان محمد اسلم زہرہ اور  گل ناز شامل تھے۔ ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن بہاولپور اور بہاول وکٹوریہ ہسپتال کے ڈاکٹروں نے بھی حصہ لیا، جن میں ڈاکٹر کاشف صفدر ڈاکٹر آمنہ عارف ڈاکٹر شہزاد ارشاد اور ڈاکٹر انعم اسلم شامل تھے۔
