Seerat Chair the Islamia University of Bahawalpur strives to make the public aware of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) through seminars, workshops, national and international conferences on various topics. The Seerat Chair has been maintaining the tradition of organizing lectures by eminent Islamic scholars in the light of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) to solve the problems faced by social and civil societies in their daily lives since its establishment. A grand seminar titled Ramadan and our responsibilities was organized by the Seerat Chair and the Department of Mosques, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, at the Syed Salman Nadvi auditorium, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. The moderator was Dr. Sohaib Jamil, Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies. Professor Dr. Hafiz Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Director of Seerat Chair, delivered the opening remarks. He thanked the organizers, all the participants, and the guest speaker and said that today's program is exemplary, which is a welcome to Ramadan, which means reciting the Holy Quran, remembrances, and prayers should be well organized. The guest speaker of the event, Dr. Abdul Sattar, Director of the Department of Mosques, in his special address, highlighted the importance of Ramadan in front of the audience, and emphasized the illumination of daily matters with the light of the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Seerat, and presented several examples from Islamic history to the audience, in the light of which an exemplary individual and society can be established. The chairman of the conference, Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, thanked the esteemed participants and said that Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur was basically a religious seminary that played a role in the training of society and individuals, emphasized the adoption of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and today's program is also a link to this. He praised the role of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran in promoting the Quran and Sunnah and its teachings. He said that the Vice Chancellor has expressed the need and importance of organizing such programs and appreciated these efforts. A large number of students and teachers participated in the seminar.

سیرت چیئر، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور عوام الناس کو سیرت النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آگاہی کے لیے مختلف موضوعات پر سیمینارز، ورکشاپس، قومی وبین الاقوامی کانفرنسز کے ذریعے کوشاں رہتی ہے۔ سیرت چیئر سوشل وسول سوسائٹیز کو روز مرہ میں پیش آمدہ مسائل کے حل کے لیے سیرت النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی روشنی میں نامور اسلامک سکالرز کے وقیع لیکچرز کا انعقاد کی روایت کو اپنے قیام سے لے کر اب تک برقرار رکھے ہوئے ہے۔ شعبہ سیرت چیئر و شعبہ مساجد اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام  ایک عظیم الشان سیمینار بعنوان رمضان المبارک اور ہماری ذمہ داریاں، سید سلمان ندوی آڈیٹوریم فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک سٹڈیز میں منعقد ہوا۔ نقابت کے فرائض ڈاکٹر صہیب جمیل لیکچرار شعبہ اسلامیات نے ادا کیے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ شفیق الرحمٰن ڈائریکٹر سیرت چیئر نے افتتاحی کلمات ادا کیے، انہوں نے منتظمین، تمام شرکا، اور مہمان مقرر کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ آج کا پروگرام مثالی ہے جو کہ رمضان المبارک کا استقبال یہ ہے کہ  تلاوت قرآن کریم، اذکار، دعاؤں کا خوب اہتمام کیا جائے۔ تقریب کے مہمان مقرر ڈاکٹر عبد الستار ڈائریکٹر شعبہ مساجد نے اپنے خصوصی خطاب میں حاضرین مجلس کے سامنے رمضان المبارک کی اہمیت کو خوب اجاگر کیا، اور روزمرہ کے معاملات کو قرآن کریم اور سیرت نبوی کی روشنی سے منور کرنے پر زور دیا، اور تاریخ اسلامی سے حاضرین کے سامنے کئی مثالیں پیش کیں جس کی روشنی میں ایک مثالی فرد ومعاشرے کا قیام عمل میں لایا جا سکتا۔ صدرِ مجلس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمٰن ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک اسٹڈیز نے معزز شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاولپور بنیادی طور ایک ایسا دینی مدرسہ تھا جس نے معاشرے وفرد کی تربیت میں کردار کیا، قرآن کریم اور سنت نبوی کو اپنانے پر زور دیا، آج کا پروگرام بھی اسی کی ایک کڑی ہے۔ انہوں نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی قرآن وسنت اور اس کی تعلیمات کے فروغ  کی کوششوں میں کردار کی تعریف کی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ وائس چانسلر نے اس طرح کے پروگرامز کے انعقاد کی ضرورت اہمیت کا اظہار کیا ہے اور ان کاوشوں کو سراہا ہے۔ سیمینار میں طلبہ واساتذہ کرام کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
