The Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, in collaboration with the Directorate of ORIC, organized a spectacular Goat Fair and Expo at the Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus. The goat fair was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf. On this occasion, livestock farmers from rural and Cholistani areas of the district presented goats of different breeds for exhibition in the number of sensors. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran appreciated the efforts of Dean Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mansoor and Focal Person Dr. Faisal Shahzad for organizing the goat fair. He said that the veterinary facilities of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are playing their role in increasing the livestock in the area and the economic development of the rural area. Training livestock farmers on modern standards in animal health care by the faculty is of utmost importance. On this occasion, the parade of goats and goats and the goat milking competition were also of great interest.

فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اورک کے اشتراک سے بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں گوٹ میلے اور ایکسپو کا شاندار انعقاد کیا۔ گوٹ میلے کا افتتاح وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالروف نے کیا۔ اس موقع پر ضلع بھر کے دیہی اور چولستانی علاقوں سے آئے ہوئے مویشی پال حضرات نے سینکٹروں کی تعداد میں مختلف نسلوں کے بکرے نمائش کے لیے پیش کیے۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے گوٹ میلے کے انعقاد پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد خالد منصور اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر فیصل شہزاد کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی ویٹرنری سہولیات علاقے میں لائیوسٹاک کے اضافے اور دیہی علاقے کی معاشی ترقی کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کررہی ہے۔ فیکلٹی کی جانب سے مویش پال کسانوں کو جانورں کی صحت کے دیکھ بھال کے حوالے سے جدید پیمانوں پر تربیت انتہائی اہمیت کی حامل ہے۔ اس موقع پر بکروں اوربکریوں کی پریڈ اور بکریوں کے دودھ دینے کا مقابلہ بھی انتہائی دلچسپی کا حامل رہا۔
