IUB organized a training workshop on Outcome-Based Education for affiliated colleges of Bahawalpur.

According to the vision of Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, the Quality Enhancement Cell along with the Directorate of Affiliation is taking steps to improve the quality of education in the university along with the implementation of quality education in the affiliated colleges. In this regard, at the University Affiliated College (Akbar Institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur), Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran gave a detailed lecture on the topic of Outcome Based Education to the principals and teachers of government and private colleges affiliated to the University of Bahawalpur in the district of Bahawalpur. The Vice Chancellor said that quality education is his top priority in the university campuses as well as in the affiliated colleges. In this regard, training is being given to the teachers on the modern teaching methodology of Outcome Based Education and Bloom Taxonomy. For this purpose, special workshops are being organized so that the teachers of the campuses as well as the teachers of the affiliated colleges can be informed about the modern teaching methodology. This initiative is related to the best mental cultivation of students, confidence building and effective teaching of modern curriculum so that they can demonstrate excellent performance in the practical field. Director Quality Enhancement Cell Professor Dr. Muhammad Asadullah Madani said that such training workshops have been organized in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan. In this regard, a workshop will also be organized for teachers of law colleges. The Vice Chancellor is personally striving for quality education and is giving training lectures to teachers. President Private Colleges Association Faisal Nadeem appreciated the training workshop of teachers of affiliated colleges and said that due to the special attention of the Vice Chancellor, steps are being taken to conduct examinations regularly in affiliated colleges and there has been improvement in this regard. Principal Akbar Institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur thanked the Vice Chancellor for his special visit and lecture.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کے ویژن کے مطابق کوالٹی انہاسمنٹ سیل ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایفیلیشن کے ساتھ یونیورسٹی میں کوالٹی ایجوکیشن کے نفاذ کے ساتھ ساتھ ملحقہ کالجز میں بھی تعلیمی معیار کی بہتری کے لیے اقدامات کر رہے ہیں۔ اسی سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی ایفیلیٹڈ کالج (اکبر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز بہاولپور) میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے آؤٹ کم بیسڈ ایجوکیشن کے موضوع پر ضلع بہاولپور کے جامعہ سے ملحقہ سرکاری اور پرائیوٹ کالجز کے پرنسپلز اور اساتذہ کرام کو تفصیلی لیکچر دیا۔ وائس چانسلر کا کہنا تھا کہ کوالٹی ایجوکیشن یونیورسٹی کیمپسز کے ساتھ ساتھ ملحقہ کالجز میں بھی ان کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔ اسی سلسلے میں اساتذہ کرام کو دور حاضر کی جدید تدریسی طریقہ کار آؤٹ کم بیسڈ ایجوکیشن اور بلوم ٹیکسانومی کی ٹریننگ دی جارہی ہے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے خصوصی ورکشاپ ترتیب دی جارہی ہیں تاکہ کیمپسز کے اساتذہ کے ساتھ ساتھ ملحقہ کالجز کے اساتذہ کو بھی جدید تدریسی طریقہ کار سے متعلق آگاہ دی جا سکے۔ یہ اقدام طلباوطالبات کی بہترین ذہنی آبیاری ، اعتماد سازی اور جدید نصاب کی موثر تعلیم سے متعلق ہے تاکہ وہ عملی میدان میں بہترین کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرسکیں۔ ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہاسمنٹ سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی نے بتایا کہ اس طرح کی تربیتی ورکشاپس بہاولپور، بہاولنگر اور رحیم یار خان میں منعقد کی جاچکی ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں لاء کالجز کے اساتذہ کے لیے بھی ایک ورکشاپ منعقد کی جائے گی۔ وائس چانسلر کوالٹی ایجوکیشن کے لیے ذاتی طور پر کوشاں ہیں اور اساتذہ کو تربیتی لیکچر دے رہے ہیں۔ صدر پرائیوٹ کالجز ایسوسی ایشن فیصل ندیم نے ملحقہ کالجز کے اساتذہ کی تربیتی ورکشاپ کو سراہا اور کہا کہ وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی توجہ کی بدولت ملحقہ کالجز میں امتحانات کو باقاعدگی سے منعقد کرانے کے لیے اقدامات جاری ہیں اور اس سلسلے میں بہتری آئی ہے۔ پرنسپل اکبر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز بہاولپور نے وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی آمد اور لیکچر دینے پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔
