IUB organized the quiz competition on the topic of the Pakistan's Independence Movement.

Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society, Directorate of Students Affairs, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized an informative and purposeful quiz competition on the topic of Pakistan Independence Movement. The objective of the competition was to promote awareness, consciousness and intellectual commitment among the students about the Pakistan Independence Movement, the historical background of the establishment of Pakistan, the passionate struggle of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and important events of national history. Students from different departments of Islamia University of Bahawalpur participated in the quiz competition in large numbers and fully demonstrated their academic talent and historical knowledge regarding the Independence Movement and national history. During the competition, the students showed great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, while the questions related to national history provided an effective opportunity to test the knowledge and intellectual preparedness of the participants. Nimra Chaudhry, Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society, performed the duties of the event with great excellence and conducted the various stages of the competition in a pleasant manner. According to the results of the competition, Hamadullah, a student of BS English Literature, second semester, secured the first position, while BS English, eighth semester, student Sawira Shahid secured the second position. Physiotherapy student Maimuna Nayab and BS Biotechnology student Ayesha Bariha also performed outstandingly in the competition. At the end of the ceremony, Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society Advisor Dr. Ramzan Tahir addressed the students. He shed light on the historical background of the Pakistan Independence Movement, the struggle for the establishment of Pakistan, the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the national responsibilities of the new generation. He said that the history of Pakistan is not just a collection of a few historical events but a story of great ideological struggle, unparalleled sacrifices and determination and courage. Informing the new generation about this history and enlightening it with its real lessons is indispensable for the awakening of national consciousness. On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Ehsan, Co-Advisor of Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society, also expressed his views. Appreciating the interest of the students in academic, national and research activities, he said that such activities play an important role in connecting the youth with their national history, freedom movement and the basic objectives of the establishment of Pakistan. To encourage the students who performed outstandingly in the competition, certificates will be distributed at a special ceremony to be held on August 14 on the occasion of Independence Day. This quiz competition organized on the theme of Pakistan Freedom Movement proved to be an effective and purposeful activity in terms of awareness of national history, promotion of studies, intellectual awareness, academic competition and promotion of national consciousness among the students. This effort, organized by the Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society, reflects the fact that the continuity of academic and intellectual activities to connect the younger generation with the history of Pakistan and its ideological background is an important need of the hour.

کشمیر اینڈ نظریہ پاکستان سوسائٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام پاکستان تحریکِ آزادی کے موضوع پر معلوماتی اور بامقصد کوئز مقابلے کا انعقاد کیا۔ مقابلے کا مقصد طلبہ میں تحریکِ آزادی پاکستان، قیامِ پاکستان کے تاریخی پس منظر، قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کی ولولہ انگیز جدوجہد اور قومی تاریخ کے اہم واقعات کے بارے میں شعور، آگہی اور فکری وابستگی کو فروغ دینا تھا۔ کوئز مقابلے میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے مختلف شعبہ جات سے تعلق رکھنے والے طلبہ نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی اور تحریکِ آزادی اور قومی تاریخ کے حوالے سے اپنی علمی استعداد اور تاریخی معلومات کا بھرپور مظاہرہ کیا۔ مقابلے کے دوران طلبہ میں علمی جوش و خروش نمایاں رہا، جبکہ قومی تاریخ سے متعلق سوالات نے شرکا کی معلومات اور فکری تیاری کو جانچنے کا مؤثر موقع فراہم کیا۔ تقریب کی نظامت کے فرائض نمرہ چودھری، کشمیر اینڈ نظریہ پاکستان سوسائٹی نے نہایت عمدگی سے انجام دیے اور مقابلے کے مختلف مراحل کو خوش اسلوبی سے آگے بڑھایا۔ مقابلے کے نتائج کے مطابق بی ایس انگلش لٹریچر، سیکنڈ سمسٹر کے طالب علم حماد اللہ نے پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی، جبکہ بی ایس انگلش، آٹھویں سمسٹر کی طالبہ سویرا شاہد نے دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ فیزیو تھراپی کی طالبہ میمونہ نایاب اور بی ایس بایوٹیکنالوجی کی طالبہ عائشہ بریحہ نے بھی مقابلے میں نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ تقریب کے اختتام پر کشمیر اینڈ نظریۂ پاکستان سوسائٹی کے ایڈوائزر ڈاکٹر رمضان طاہر نے طلبہ سے خصوصی خطاب کیا۔ انہوں نے تحریکِ آزادی پاکستان کے تاریخی پس منظر، قیامِ پاکستان کی جدوجہد، قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کی بصیرت افروز قیادت اور نئی نسل کی قومی ذمہ داریوں پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی تاریخ محض چند تاریخی واقعات کا مجموعہ نہیں بلکہ ایک عظیم نظریاتی جدوجہد، بے مثال قربانیوں اور عزم و حوصلے کی داستان ہے۔ نئی نسل کو اس تاریخ سے آگاہ کرنا اور اس کے حقیقی اسباق سے روشناس کرانا قومی شعور کی بیداری کے لیے ناگزیر ہے۔ اس موقع پر کشمیر اینڈ نظریۂ پاکستان سوسائٹی کے کو ایڈوائزر ڈاکٹر محمد احسان نے بھی اظہارِ خیال کیا۔ انہوں نے طلبہ کی علمی، قومی اور تحقیقی سرگرمیوں میں دلچسپی کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس نوعیت کی سرگرمیاں نوجوانوں کو اپنی قومی تاریخ، تحریکِ آزادی اور قیامِ پاکستان کے بنیادی مقاصد سے جوڑنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہیں۔ مقابلے میں نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے طلبہ کی حوصلہ افزائی کے لیے سرٹیفکیٹس 14 اگست کو یومِ آزادی کے حوالے سے منعقد ہونے والی خصوصی تقریب میں تقسیم کیے جائیں گے۔پاکستان تحریکِ آزادی کے موضوع پر منعقد ہونے والا یہ کوئز مقابلہ طلبہ میں قومی تاریخ سے آگہی، مطالعے کے فروغ، فکری بیداری، علمی مسابقت اور قومی شعور کے فروغ کے حوالے سے ایک مؤثر اور بامقصد سرگرمی ثابت ہوا۔ کشمیر اینڈ نظریۂ پاکستان سوسائٹی کی جانب سے منعقد کی جانے والی یہ کاوش اس امر کی عکاس ہے کہ نوجوان نسل کو پاکستان کی تاریخ اور اس کے نظریاتی پس منظر سے جوڑنے کے لیے علمی و فکری سرگرمیوں کا تسلسل وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔
