The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Retains Global Spot in Top 801–1000 Tier and Ranks 15th Nationally in THE World University Rankings 2027 

IUB has reaffirmed its standing as a leading global institution by securing its position in the 801–1000 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027. Among 49 ranked universities from Pakistan, IUB achieved an impressive 15th position nationally, consolidating its academic leadership and regional impact.The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is widely regarded as the most rigorous and comprehensive global university assessment framework. Trusted by students, academics, university leaders, governments, and industry experts worldwide, the 2027 edition evaluated a record 2,297 institutions across 118 countries and territories.A standout highlight of IUB's performance is its remarkable score of 79.4 in Research Quality, reflecting exceptionally high citation impact, research strength, and scholarly output. The university also demonstrated strong global engagement with an International Outlook score of 49.0, driven by active international collaborations, joint research initiatives, and cross-border academic exchanges.
