Message from Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran on the occasion of International Women's Day 2026

On the occasion of International Women's Day 2026, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, said in his message that Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur reiterates its commitment to this year's global theme "Rights, Justice, Action for All Women and Girls" by celebrating the outstanding role of women in national and global socio-economic development. As a higher education institution, thousands of female students, faculty and staff are engaged in Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Our female students and teachers are successfully showing their talents in academic teaching and research, sports and co-curricular activities. For the convenience of its female teachers and staff, the university administration is establishing four day care centers in Abbasia Campus, Khawaja Farid Campus, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan Campuses with the support of the Punjab Government. The university highlights their active role in society by celebrating Women's Week every year. A Women's Health Center and a Women's Development Center have been established in the university for the health and care of female teachers and students.  Today, we pledge to foster an environment where women have justice and the full opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation.

خواتین کے عالمی دن 2026 کے موقع پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران پر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا ہے کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاولپور قومی اور عالمی سماجی و اقتصادی ترقی میں خواتین کے شاندار کردار کو منا کر اس سال کے  عالمی تھیم "حقوق، انصاف، عملی اقدامات تمام خواتین اور لڑکیوں کے لیے" کے مطابق اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کرتی ہے۔ ایک اعلیٰ درجہ کے تعلیمی ادارے کے طور پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں ہزاروں طالبات خواتین فیکلٹی اور عملہ مصروف عمل ہیں ۔ ہماری طالبات اور اساتذہ علمی تدریس و تحقیق کھیلوں اور ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں میں کامیابی سے اپنی صلاحیتوں کے جوہر دکھا رہی ہیں ۔ اپنی خواتین اساتذہ اور عملے کی سہولت کے لئے یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ نے عباسیہ کیمپس، خواجہ فرید کیمپس، بہاولنگر اور رحیم یار خان کیمپسز میں حکومت پنجاب کے تعاون سے چار ڈے کیئر سینٹرز قائم کر رہی ہے۔ جامعہ ہر سال خواتین کا ہفتہ منا کر معاشرے میں  انکے فعال کردار کو اجاگر کرتی ہے ۔ یونیورسٹی میں خواتین اساتذہ اور طالبات کی صحت اور دیکھ بھال کے لیے ویمن ہیلتھ سینٹر اور ویمن ڈویلپممٹ سینٹر قائم کیا گیا ہے۔ آج کے دن ہم ایک ایسے ماحول کو فروغ دینے کا عہد کرتے ہیں جہاں خواتین کو انصاف اور اگلی نسل کی رہنمائی اور حوصلہ افزائی کا بھر پور موقع ملے۔
