National Tech Lancer Summit has been held at the Islmia University of Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur (P) Faculty of Computing and Directorate of Students Affairs the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the National Tech Lancer Summit. Punjab Information Technology Board and National Freelance Training Program besides more than 60 IT institutions, software houses and freelancers from across the country participated in this mega event organized in the main auditorium of the university. The summit was inaugurated by Senior Dean Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum. She said that the development in information technology, especially the promotion of freelancing, can give an extraordinary boost to the country's economy. By holding this mega event at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, our teachers and students will get an opportunity to access the global market in the field of information technology, especially freelancing. She congratulated Dean Faculty of Computing Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Director Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf and Focal Person Dr. Faheem Mushtaq for the successful organization of the Tech Freelancers Summit. Dr. Faheem Mushtaq Advisor IUB Freelancing Society while explaining the aims and objectives of the summit said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has become a big name in the field of IT at the global level. This university is providing manpower in IT sector as well as providing quality products. The purpose of this conference is to bring together freelancers, tech leaders and experts, teachers, researchers and students from the private and public sector on one platform so that IT experts and investors can come together at one place and start mutual development projects. This mega summit will open new chapters of economic development and technological expertise along with employment opportunities. The interaction of the IT community and the presence of all these people in Islamia University Bahawalpur will certainly create new opportunities for development in this field in the region. Dr. Faheem Mushtaq expressed special thanks to the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for his special guidance and patronage in organizing this mega summit. After the inaugural session, in networking and panel discussions, IT experts from across the country informed the students about the immense career and business opportunities in the IT sector. Prominent IT and software companies set up stalls in a special exhibition area adjacent to the conference hall.

بہاول پور (پ) فیکلٹی آف کیمپوٹنگ اور ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام قومی ٹیک لانسر سمٹ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ یونیورسٹی کے مرکزی آڈیٹوریم میں منعقد ہونے والے اس میگا ایونٹ میں پنجاب انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی بورڈ اور نیشنل فری لانس ٹریننگ پروگرام کے علاوہ 60 سے زائد آئی ٹی اداروں، سافٹ ویئر ہاؤسز اور ملک بھر سے آئے ہوئے فری لانسرز نے شرکت کی۔ سمٹ کا افتتاح سینئر ڈین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم نے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی میں ترقی خصوصا فری لانسنگ کے فروغ سے ملکی معیشت کو غیر معمولی پذیرائی حاصل ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس میگا ایونٹ کے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں انعقاد سے ہمارے اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات کو انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی خصوصا فری لانسنگ کے میدان میں عالمی مارکیٹ تک رسائی کا موقع ملے گا۔ انہوں نے ٹیک فری لانسرز سمٹ کے کامیاب انعقاد پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمپوٹنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر دوست محمد خان، ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرؤف اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق کو مبارکباد دی۔ ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی فری لانسنگ سوسائٹی نے سمٹ کے اغراض و مقاصد بیان کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور آئی ٹی کے میدان میں عالمی سطح پر ایک بڑا نام بن چکی ہے۔ یہ جامعہ آئی ٹی کے شعبے میں افرادی قوت کی فراہمی کے ساتھ ساتھ معیاری پراڈکٹس بھی فراہم کررہی ہے۔ اس کانفرنس کا مقصد فری لانسرز ٹیک لیڈرز اور نجی اور سرکاری شعبہ سے وابستہ ماہرین، اساتذہ، محققین اور طلباء وطالبات کو ایک پلیٹ فارم پر اکٹھا کرنا ہے تاکہ آئی ٹی ماہرین اور سرمایہ کار ایک جگہ پر اکٹھا ہوکر باہمی ترقی کے منصوبے شروع کرسکیں۔ اس میگا سمٹ سے ملازمت کے مواقعوں کے ساتھ ساتھ معاشی ترقی اور تکنیکی مہارت کے نئے باب کھلیں گے۔ آئی ٹی کمیونٹی کا باہمی رابطہ اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں ان تمام افراد کی موجودگی یقینا خطے میں اس میدان میں ترقی کے نئے مواقع پیدا کرے گی۔ ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق نے اس میگا سمٹ کے انعقاد میں خصوصی رہنمائی اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ افتتاحی سیشن کے بعد نیٹ ورکنگ اور پینل ڈسکشنز میں ملک بھر سے آئے ہوئے آئی ٹی ماہرین نے طلباء وطالبات کو آئی ٹی سیکٹر میں کیریئر، کاروبار کے بے پناہ مواقعوں سے آگاہ کیا۔ کانفرنس ہال کے ساتھ خصوصی نمائشی ایریا میں نامور آئی ٹی و سافٹ ویئر کمپنیز نے سٹالز لگائے۔
