Bahawalpur () Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has said that Pakistan Resolution Day reminds us of the sincere determination and constant struggle of the Muslims of Pakistan and India. On that day, the Muslims of India, under the enthusiastic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, announced their struggle to obtain a separate territory for themselves and the resolution of Pakistan was passed. Our forefathers changed the map of the world in a span of just seven years by following the principles of unity, faith and discipline. As a result a new Islamic state came into being in the form of Pakistan. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while talking to the participants of the Solidarity Walk at Abbasia Campus on the occasion of Pakistan Day. He said that March 23 is an important day in our history that was the historic day when we decided our mission after traveling for centuries and started the journey to a unique destination. On March 23, 1940, under the zealous leadership of Quaid-i-Azam, the Muslims of the subcontinent passed this resolution and after that, they devoted themselves to the pursuit of Pakistan. The British wanted to give independence to the sub-continent but did not want to give a separate state to the Muslims, but the Muslims of the sub-continent got Pakistan with their blood and the blood of martyrs by making eternal sacrifices. On August 14, 1947, this journey was completed that Muslims got an independent state according to the resolution of March 23, 1940. After that, only the journey of stability and development of Pakistan continues. Every 23 March we should pledge that we will never forget the sacrifices and struggles of our elders and to achieve this goal of making Pakistan a great nation. On this occasion, a special rally was also held under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, in which a large number of teachers, employees and students participated.

بہاول پور () پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے کہا کہ یوم قراردادِ پاکستان ہمیں برصغیر پاک وہند کے مسلمانوں کے عزم صمیم اور جہدِ مسلسل کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ اس دن مسلمانانِ ہند نے قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کی ولولہ انگیز قیادت میں اپنے لیے ایک الگ خطہ ارضی کے حصول کے لیے اپنی جہد وجہد کا اعلان کیا اور قرار داد پاکستان منظور کی گئی۔ بے مثال قیادت اور ایمان، اتحاد ویقین محکم کے اُصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہو کر ہمارے آباؤ اجداد نے فقط سات برس کے عرصے میں دنیا کے نقشے کو بدل کر رکھ دیا۔ پاکستان کی صورت میں ایک نئی اسلامی مملکت معرضِ وجود میں آئی۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار یوم پاکستان کی مناسبت سے عباسیہ کیمپس میں یکجہتی واک کے شرکاء سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 23 مارچ ہماری تاریخ کا ایک اہم دن ہے یہی وہ تاریخی دن تھا جب ہم نے صدیوں کے سفر کے بعد اپنا ایک نصب العین کا تعین کیا اور ایک منفرد منزل کا سفر شروع کیا تھا۔ 23 مارچ 1940 کو قائداعظم کی ولولہ انگیز قیادت میں برصغیر کے مسلمانوں نے یہ قرار داد پاس کی اور اس کے بعد ایک لگن کے ساتھ پاکستان کے حصول میں جٹ گئے۔ انگریز برصغیر کو آزادی تو دینا چاہتے تھے لیکن مسلمانوں کو علیحدہ مملکت نہیں دینا چاہتے تھے لیکن برصغیر کے مسلمانوں نے لازوال قربانیاں دے کر خون سے، شہیدوں کے لہو سے پاکستان کو حاصل کیا۔ 14 اگست 1947 کو یہ سفر مکمل ہوا کہ مسلمانوں نے 23 مارچ 1940 کی قرارداد کے مطابق آزاد مملکت حاصل کی اس کے بعد صرف پاکستان کے استحکام اور ترقی کا سفر جاری ہے۔ ہر 23 مارچ کو ہمیں عہد کرنا چاہیے کہ ہم اپنے بزرگوں کی قربانیوں کو ان کی جدوجہد کو ہرگز نہ بھولیں گے اور اس مقصد کے حصول کے لیے پاکستان کو ایک عظیم مملکت بنا کر رہیں گے۔ ہمیں ایک روشن مستقبل کے لئے مل جل کر پاکستانیوں کی حیثیت سے کام کرنا چاہیے۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی سربراہی میں خصوصی ریلی بھی نکالی گئی جس میں اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طلباء وطالبات کی کثیر تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
