The Institute of Agro-Industry & Environment, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur hosted an Orientation Ceremony to welcome the inaugural batches of its newly launched BS Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change degree program. The event was graced by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, whose inspiring address and interaction with the students marked a momentous beginning for these futuristic academic disciplines. In his address, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran congratulated the students for joining this program. He appreciated the effort of Prof. Dr. Ghulam Hassan Abbasi, Director, Institute of Agro-Industry & Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for initiating this future oriented program.  He emphasized that Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change are not only defining the challenges of the 21st century but also offering innovative solutions for sustainable development, environmental resilience, and technological advancement. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the university’s commitment to academic excellence, interdisciplinary learning, and research-driven education, asserting that this program is designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The orientation ceremony was attended Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain and other faculty members. Faculty members and students expressed their gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for his constant support and visionary leadership.

انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ایگرو انڈسٹری اینڈ انوائرمنٹ، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے اپنے نئے شروع کیے گئے بی ایس آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس اینڈ کلائمیٹ چینج ڈگری پروگرام کے افتتاحی سیشن کے طلبا وطالبات ک کے لیے ایک اورینٹیشن تقریب کا اہتمام کیا۔ تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران تھے، جن کے متاثر کن خطاب اور طلباء کے ساتھ بات چیت ان مستقبل کے تعلیمی شعبوں کے لیے ایک اہم آغاز ہے۔ اپنے خطاب میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے طلباء کو اس پروگرام میں شامل ہونے پر مبارکباد دی۔ انہوں نے اس مستقبل پر مبنی پروگرام کو شروع کرنے پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر غلام حسن عباسی، ڈائریکٹر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ایگرو انڈسٹری اینڈ انوائرمنٹ، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ مصنوعی ذہانت اور موسمیاتی تبدیلی نہ صرف دور حاضر کے چیلنجز کی وضاحت کر رہے ہیں بلکہ پائیدار ترقی، ماحولیاتی لچک اور تکنیکی ترقی کے لیے اختراعی حل بھی پیش کر رہے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر نے یونیورسٹی کی درس و تدریس کے عزم کو اجاگر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ پروگرام طلباء کو نظریاتی علم اور عملی مہارت دونوں سے آراستہ کرنے کے لیے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔ اورینٹیشن تقریب میں ڈین، فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین اور دیگر فیکلٹی ممبران نے شرکت کی۔ فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء نے وائس چانسلر کے مسلسل تعاون اور دور اندیش قیادت پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
