Bahawalpur (PR) Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal Chairman Admission Committee has said that special admission and information centers have been established in the campuses of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan and Liaquatpur for students and parents who wish to enter the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. In the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, an admission center has been established at Abbasia Campus in Bahawalpur, where online admission facility has been provided to the incoming students. He said that in view of the economic conditions, the university is considering a 25 to 35 percent reduction in fees. Students can also pay the fee in two or three installments. Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal has said that economic difficulties will not be allowed to hinder the opportunities of higher education. Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Chairman Admission Committee, expressed these views while discussing on the occasion of visiting the admission cell. On this occasion, he inaugurated the admission hour campaign of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on Facebook. Through this service, teachers will provide guidance to students regarding admissions and answer questions from 11 am to 12 pm every day. Prof. Dr. Jawa D Iqbal said that the first merit list of most of the BS programs will be posted on the university website this evening. He said that necessary steps are being taken regarding the LLB programme. LLB admissions will be started soon. He said not to listen to rumors related to computing and IT programs. Accreditation procedures for these programs are already underway. The IT programs of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are nationally and internationally recognized. In view of the trend of the job market, students should actively enroll in IT programs. In response to a question, Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal said that students who failed the entrance test once should not be disappointed and should apply for the test again. Entrance tests are being conducted every week. He said that students who fail in a subject in the second year are given six months for supplementary examination.
