Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice-Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, visited various classes within the Department of English Linguistics and the Department of Saraiki at the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor observed ongoing academic activities, assessed the teaching and learning environment in the classrooms, and engaged with faculty and students to gain insight into pedagogical practices and departmental affairs. He emphasized the importance of quality education, effective teaching, active student participation, and a conducive academic environment in strengthening the university's educational standards.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
