Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice-Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, participated in the concluding roundtable conference of the Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program held in Islamabad. The event marked the successful culmination of an exemplary partnership between the Higher Education Commission and the US government—spanning the period from 2004 to 2026—under which an investment of US$31.2 million was made to support over 6,675 deserving students across 30 partner universities in Pakistan. Dr Shahzad Ahmed Khalid Director PR Islamia University of Bahawalpur added that the Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by Professor Dr. Areeba Khan, Director of Financial Assistance IUB, who played a pivotal role in the management and distribution of these scholarships at the university . During the event, Dr. Kamran commended the Higher Education Commission for its continued support in providing financial assistance to the students of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur through various scholarship programs.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے اسلام آباد میں منعقدہ میرٹ اینڈ نیڈز بیسڈ اسکالرشپ پروگرام کی اختتامی گول میز کانفرنس میں شرکت کی۔ یہ تقریب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن اور امریکی حکومت کے درمیان 2004 سے 2026 تک جاری رہنے والی اس مثالی شراکت داری کے کامیاب اختتام کی عکاس تھی جس کے تحت پاکستان بھر کی 30 شراکت دار یونیورسٹیوں میں 6,675 زائد مستحق طلباو طالبات کی معاونت کے لیے 31.2 ملین امریکی ڈالر کی سرمایہ کاری کی گئی۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کے ہمراہ ڈائریکٹر فنانشل اسسٹنس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اریبہ خان بھی موجود تھیں جنہوں نے طلبہ کے لیے وظائف کی تقسیم اور انتظام میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا ۔ تقریب کے دوران ڈاکٹر کامران نے مختلف اسکالرشپ پروگراموں کے ذریعے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے طلباء وطالبات کو مالی معاونت فراہم کرنے میں ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے مسلسل تعاون کو سراہا ۔
