Bahawalpur (PR) Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, chairman admission committee, speaking on the university Facebook during the live admission hour, said that the admission campaign is going on in Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce consists of three divisions including Department of Commerce, Department of Accounting and Finance and Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences. The Institute of Business Management and Administrative Sciences has nine departments, including the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Department of Project and Operation Management, Department of Islamic and Commercial Banking, Department of Marketing and International Business, Department of Finance, Department of Technology Management, Department of Management and HRM and Department of Administrative Sciences are included. He said that there are few universities in Pakistan where entrepreneurship department is working. This department is working very successfully in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. There is a great demand for this degree in the world and the coming era is the era of artificial intelligence and marketing. He said that more than forty two teachers in the Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce are PhD qualified. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has a prominent position in Times Higher Education ranking and Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce Research is ranked third position. Regarding the research projects, he said that during the semester break, students are sent for internships in various institutions to complete their research projects. Apart from this, the Faculty of Management Science and Commerce also organizes an annual job fair for the students so that the graduates can get employment opportunities. Regarding scholarship, he said that scholarships are available for all programs. The Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce has started a series of loans for its students through a memorandum of understanding with Meezan Bank and such students who cannot pay their fees can pay their fees by taking loans from Meezan Bank. Easy loan installments are fixed which can be easily paid by the students. In response to a question regarding LLB admission, Professor Dr. Jawad Iqbal said that the merit list is made only after the LAT test and it is necessary to pass the late test for admission. Regarding the FATA seats, he said that according to the policy of the government of Pakistan, the seats are fixed for the male and female students of FATA and the admission will be opened for them soon. In response to the question regarding the installments of fees, he said that the fee committee of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, considering the economic situation, has announced a reduction of 25% in some programs for newly enrolled students. Apart from this, a fixed fee has also been introduced in some new programs in which a fixed fee of 25,000 rupees per semester has been fixed so that more and more students can enroll in these new programs. There is a 25% fee reduction for alumni of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Apart from this, 10% fee reduction has also been given to students from colleges affiliated to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
