Seminar on “The Transformative Potential of Generative AI and Predictive Models in Academia and Industry" held at IUB

The Department of Artificial Intelligence, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized a seminar on the topic of transformative potential of generative AI in academia and industry and predictive models. Dean Faculty of Computing, Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad, chaired the seminar. Prof. Dr. Najia Sahar, Chairperson, Department of Artificial Intelligence, said that the aim of the seminar is to bring together leading experts in artificial intelligence to discuss the impact of innovations occurring with artificial intelligence on academic research and industry practices. On this occasion, Michele Grazioli from Italy was a special guest. He was recognized in the Forbes Under 30 ranking, listed among the top 5 of Italy’s 100 most influential young innovators. Michael Grazioli serves as the president of an innovation company that develops artificial intelligence-powered platforms. Michael Grazioli is also the CEO of Distributable Artificial Intelligence Group, one of Italy’s leading firms for custom artificial intelligence solutions. Tauqeer Ahmed, Head of Enigmatis, and Waqas Manzoor Cheema, Head of Innovate Cholistan Chapter, also delivered special lectures. The speakers emphasized the transformative impact of artificial intelligence across industries, the importance of predictive modeling in decision-making, and the need to foster strong linkages between academia and industry to drive innovation.

بہاولپور (پ ر) شعبہ آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے اکیڈمیا اینڈ انڈسٹری میں جنریٹو اے آئی کی تبدیلی کی صلاحیت اور پیشن گوئی کے ماڈلز کے موضوع پر ایک سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا۔ ڈین فیکلٹی آف کمپیوٹنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر دوست محمد نے سیمینار کی صدارت کی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناجیہ سحر چیئرپرسن شعبہ آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس کا کہنا تھا کہ سیمینار کا مقصد مصنوعی ذہانت کے معروف ماہرین کو اکٹھا کرکے علمی تحقیق اور صنعت کے طریقوں پر آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس سے وقوع پذیر اختراعات کے اثرات پر تبادلہ خیال کرنا ہے۔ اس موقع پر اٹلی سے تعلق رکھنے والے مائیکل گرازیولی نے خصوصی شرکت کی۔ انکو 2019 میں فوربز کی 30 سے کم درجہ بندی میں پہچانا گیا جو اٹلی کے 100 سب سے زیادہ بااثر نوجوان اختراع کاروں میں سے ٹاپ 5 میں شامل ہیں۔ مائیکل گرازیولی آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس سے چلنے والے پلیٹ فارم تیار کرنے والی ایک اختراعی کمپنی کے صدر کے طور پر خدمات انجام دے رہے ہیں۔ مائیکل گرازیولی قابل تقسیم آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس گروپ کے سی ای او بھی ہیں جو کسٹم آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس سلوشنز کے لیے اٹلی کی مشہور فرموں میں سے ایک ہے۔ اینگمیٹیس کے سربراہ توقیر احمد اوراینووسٹہ چولستان چیپٹر کے سربراہ وقاص منظور چیمہ نے بھی خصوصی لیکچر دیئے۔ مقررین نے تمام صنعتوں میں آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس کے تبدیلی کے اثرات، فیصلہ سازی میں پیش گوئی کرنے والی ماڈلنگ کی اہمیت اور اختراع کو آگے بڑھانے کے لیے اکیڈمی اور صنعت کے درمیان مضبوط روابط کو فروغ دینے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔
