Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Library and Fatima Jinnah Leadership center The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, is hosting a special Book Exhibition in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salman Bin Naeem, HOD, Department of Information Management, and Dr. Irfan Hussain Tahir, Chief Librarian, Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Library Library. Chief Librarian Dr. Irfan Hussain Tahir warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the importance of promoting awareness of the Pakistan Movement among students and readers. A special collection of books related to the Pakistan Movement, national history, and the struggle for independence has been displayed, providing students, faculty members, and library users with an opportunity to explore and benefit from these valuable resources. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of the Pakistan Movement and its historical struggle. She briefed the students and audience on the sacrifices and vision that led to the creation of Pakistan. She emphasized that the younger generation has a vital role to play in safeguarding the nation’s legacy and contributing to its progress. Her message encouraged students to serve Pakistan with dedication, responsibility, and a strong sense of patriotism. The exhibition received an encouraging response, with a large number of students, faculty members, and readers visiting and appreciating the initiative.

سر صادق محمد خان لائبریری اور فاطمہ جناح لیڈرشپ سنٹر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام یوم آزادی کے حوالے سے خصوصی کتابوں کی نمائش اور قائداعظم اور تحریک پاکستان پر دستاویزی فلم کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ نمائش کا افتتاح پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز نےکیا۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلمان بن نعیم، انچارج شعبہ انفارمیشن مینجمنٹ، اور ڈاکٹر عرفان حسین طاہر چیف لائبریرین سر صادق محمد خان لائبریری بھی موجود تھے۔ چیف لائبریرین ڈاکٹر عرفان حسین طاہر نے معزز مہمانوں کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا اور طلبہ اور قارئین میں تحریک پاکستان کے بارے میں شعور کو فروغ دینے کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی۔ تحریکِ پاکستان، قومی تاریخ اور جدوجہدِ آزادی سے متعلق کتابوں کا ایک خصوصی مجموعہ آویزاں کیا گیا ہے، جو طلبہ، فیکلٹی ممبران، اور لائبریری کے صارفین کو ان قیمتی وسائل کو دریافت کرنے اور اس سے مستفید ہونے کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی نے تحریک پاکستان کی اہمیت اور اس کی تاریخی جدوجہد پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے ایک متاثر کن تقریر کی۔ انہوں نے طلباء اور سامعین کو ان قربانیوں اور وژن کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا جن کی وجہ سے پاکستان بنایا گیا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ نوجوان نسل کا ملک کی وراثت کے تحفظ اور اس کی ترقی میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنے میں اہم کردار ہے۔ اس کے پیغام نے طالب علموں کو لگن، ذمہ داری اور حب الوطنی کے مضبوط جذبے کے ساتھ پاکستان کی خدمت کرنے کی ترغیب دی۔ نمائش کو حوصلہ افزا ردعمل ملا، طلباء، فیکلٹی ممبران، اور قارئین کی بڑی تعداد نے اس پہل کا دورہ کیا اور اسے سراہا۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
