Special Lecture on CSS Career Counseling Held at IUB under National Outreach Program
Director General of the Civil Services Academy, Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, and Dr. Syed Shabbir Akbar, Director of the Common Training Program, visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur to deliver a special lecture titled "Career Counseling Talk for CSS Aspirants" under the National Outreach Program. Organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs, the seminar featured valuable insights from the Civil Services Academy officials. They extended their gratitude to Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Director Student Affairs & Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf, for hosting the event. The speakers highlighted the importance of preparing for competitive examinations through reputable institutions. They also provided guidance on the CSS examination process, subject selection, and career prospects. Dr. Syed Shabbir Akbar addressed students' queries and discussed exam strategies and career planning. Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf suggested that such informative sessions should be made more accessible to students via online platforms. The session was moderated by Ms. Aleena Tariq, Lecturer in the Department of English Linguistics, and witnessed active participation from faculty members, administrative officers, and students of the university.

سول سروسز اکیڈمی کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل فرحان عزیز خواجہ اور ڈاکٹر سید شبیر اکبر ڈائریکٹر کامن ٹریننگ پروگرام نے نیشنل آؤٹ ریچ پروگرام کے تحت CSS کے خواہشمندوں کے لیے کیریئر کونسلنگ ٹاک کے عنوان سے ایک خصوصی لیکچر دینے کے لیے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا دورہ کیا۔ یونیورسٹی کے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز کے زیر اہتمام منعقدہ سیمینار میں سول سروسز اکیڈمی کے حکام نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے مقابلے کے امتحان کی  معتبر اداروں کے ذریعے تیاری کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا اور سی ایس ایس سے وابستہ طریقہ کار، مضمون کے انتخاب، اور کیریئر کے امکانات کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ ڈاکٹر سید شبیر اکبر نے طلباء کے سوالات کے جوابات دیتے ہوئے اور امتحانی حکمت عملی اور کیرئیر کی منصوبہ بندی کے بارے گفتگو کی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف نے تجویز پیش کی کہ ایسے معلوماتی سیشنز کو آن لائن پلیٹ فارمز کے ذریعے طلباء تک زیادہ سے زیادہ قابل رسائی بنایا جائے۔ سیشن کی نظامت علینہ طارق لیکچرر شعبہ انگریزی لسانیات نے کی اور اس میں یونیورسٹی کے فیکلٹی، انتظامی افسران اور طلباء نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔
