Bahawalpur (PR) The admission campaign for fall 2026 is underway at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. This year, admissions are underway in more than 140 BS, 101 MPhil and 61 PhD programs in the campuses of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan. On the instructions of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, like last year, the Central Admission Cell and liaison office under the Directorate of Academics, Directorate of IT and Directorate of Communication and Public Relations at Abbasia Campus is welcoming the visiting students. The Vice Chancellor has said on the occasion of his visit to the Central Admission Center that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is among the top 10 universities in Pakistan and among the 1000 best universities in the world. Many new educational programs have been started in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in line with the needs of the domestic and foreign market. There are many educational programs in them that are not taught in other universities of South Punjab. More than 140 BS programs are available in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is the only university in this region that is providing admissions in so many programs in BS, MS, MPhil and PhD. He said that admission can be applied for in the university on the basis of FSc first year and similarly, students who will complete BS degree in this semester will also be provided admission in MPhil on the basis of the previous semester. He said that the faculty and students are our goodwill ambassadors. They should guide the students around them that high-level teaching and research is being conducted in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has the best infrastructure, sports facilities, best hostel facilities, medical facilities, safe and comfortable travel facilities and a large number of PhD teachers. Students should take advantage of the presence of these teachers and get admission in the departments of their choice.
