The Finance and Planning Committee, chaired by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran has approved a budget of approximately Rs. 9379 million (Rs. 9.37 billion) for the financial year 2026-27. During the session, Treasurer Dr. Tariq Mahmood Shaikh presented the financial estimates before the committee. While the budget was passed without dissent, officials noted that the university will face a financial deficit of Rs 541 million during Financial Year 2026-27. The approved budget allocates substantial funds toward ongoing and new research initiatives, campus development projects, employee and student welfare schemes, and scholarships for deserving students. Key attendees at the meeting included Prof. Dr. Khalid Mansoor Dean, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asad Ullah Madni Chairman Department of Pharmaceutics, Muhammad Shaji-ur-Rahman Registrar, Zahida Azhar Additional Secretary Universities, Higher Education Department, Ms. Rufia Deputy Secretary Finance, Sammar Subtain Deputy Director Budget, Higher Education Commission.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی زیر صدارت فنانس اینڈ پلاننگ کمیٹی نے مالی سال 2026-27 کے لیے تقریبا 9379 ملین روپے (9.37 ارب روپے) کے بجٹ کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔ خزانہ دار ڈاکٹر طارق محمود شیخ نے کمیٹی کے سامنے مالی تخمینہ پیش کیا۔ یونیورسٹی کو مالی سال 2026-27 کے دوران 541 ملین روپے کے مالی خسارے کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا۔ منظور شدہ بجٹ میں جاری اور نئے تحقیقی اقدامات کیمپس کے ترقیاتی منصوبوں ملازمین اور طلباء وطالبات کی بہبود کی اسکیموں اور مستحق طلباء وطالبات کے لیے وظائف کے لیے فنڈز مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ اجلاس میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر خالد منصور ڈین فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹرمحمد اسد اللہ مدنی چیئرمین شعبہ فارماسیوٹیکس، محمد شجیع الرحمان رجسٹرار ،زاہدہ اظہر ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری یونیورسٹیز ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ روفیہ ڈپٹی سیکرٹری فنانس اور ثمر سبطین ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر بجٹ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن شامل تھے۔
