The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the first National Harmony Conference (1st NHC-2025).

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has said that Jamia Islamia is the guardian of the glorious traditions of promoting religious teachings. Along with high-level teaching and research activities, national and international seminars and conferences are also organized at Islamia University of Bahawalpur for interfaith and interreligious harmony. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views yesterday during a meeting with Allama Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, in his office. He said that the conference on the role of the Council of Islamic Ideology in promoting interfaith and interreligious harmony in Pakistan in collaboration with the Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony and the Islamic Ideology Council is commendable.  On this occasion, Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur-ur-Rehman Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Professor Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science and Commerce, Professor Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sujeela Council Conference Focal Person, Malikullah Bakhsh Kaliyar Member of the Islamic Ideology Council and other delegates were present. Meanwhile, addressing the national conference, Allama Raghib Hussain Naeemi said that in the future, the objectives of the council will include recommendations to formulate the policies of the beloved homeland in accordance with the Constitution of the State of Medina and the Charter of Medina. Al-Hada is a big problem for the religious world. We have to unite within our sphere and confront secular forces. For this purpose, the Islamic Ideology Council is in touch with national and international universities and research centers. Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur-ur-Rehman said in his address that the historical services of the former State of Bahawalpur and Jamia Islamia are for interfaith harmony.  Conference Focal Person Dr. Sajila Kausar said that it is an honor to organize a seminar at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Islamic Ideology Council. On this occasion, Malikullah Bakhsh Kaliyar, Dr. Inamullah Director General Research Islamic Ideology Council, Mufti Ghulam Majid, Professor Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman, Dr. Muhammad Khabib, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, Pastor Munawar Shahzad Umar, Naseer Ahmed Nasir, Liaquat Ali Gilani Additional Secretary and Adeel Chanar spoke. At the end of the ceremony, the newsletter of the Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony was also launched.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ دینی تعلیمات کی ترویج کی درخشاں روایات کی امین ہے ۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں بین المذاہب و بین المسالک ہم آہنگی کے لیے اعلیٰ درجے کی تدریسی اور تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے ساتھ ساتھ قومی وعالمی سیمینارز و کانفرنسز بھی منعقد کی جاتی ہیں ۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار گزشتہ روز اپنے دفتر میں اسلامی نظریاتی کونسل کے چیئر مین علامہ راغب حسین نعیمی سے ملاقات کے موقع پر کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ شعبہ ادیان عالم و بین المذاہب وہم آہنگی اور اسلامی نظریاتی کونسل کے اشتراک سے پاکستان میں بین المذاہب اور بین المسالک ہم آہنگی کے فروغ میں اسلامی نظریاتی کونسل کا کردار کے موضوع پر ہونے والی کانفرنس لا انعقاد لائق تحسین ہے۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک سٹڈیز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال، ڈین فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنسزاینڈ کامرس، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد، ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ، ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کونسل کانفرنس فوکل پرسن، ملک اللہ بخش کلیار ممبر اسلامی نظریاتی کونسل اور دیگر مندوبین موجود تھے۔ دریں اثناء قومی کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے علامہ راغب حسین نعیمی نے کہا کہ مستقبل میں کونسل کے مقاصد میں ریاست مدینہ کے آئین اور میثاق مدینہ کی رو سے وطن عزیز کی پالیسیوں کو مرتب کرنے کے لیے سفارشات پیش کیں جائیں گی۔ الہاد مذہبی دنیا کے لیے ایک بہت بڑا مسئلہ ہے ۔ ہمیں اپنے دائرے میں رہتے ہوئے متحد ہو کر لادینی قوتوں کا مقابلہ کرنا ہے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے اسلامی نظریاتی کونسل قومی اور بین الاقوامی جامعات وتحقیقی مراکز سے رابطے میں ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کے لیے سابقہ ریاست بہاولپور اور جامعہ اسلامیہ کی تاریخی خدمات ہیں۔ کانفرنس فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ نظریاتی کونسل کی گولڈ جوبلی تقریبات کے سلسلے میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں سیمینار کا انعقاد باعث اعزاز ہے۔ اس موقع پر ملک اللہ بخش کلیار، ڈاکٹر انعام اللہ ڈائریکٹر جنرل ریسرچ اسلامی نظریات کونسل، مفتی غلام ماجد، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیاء الرحمن، ڈاکٹر محمد خبیب، ڈاکٹر محمد سعید شیخ ، پاسٹر منور شہزاد عمر، نصیر احمد ناصر، لیاقت علی گیلانی ایڈیشنل سیکریٹری اور عدیل چنڑ نے خطاب کیا۔ تقریب کے آخر میں شعبہ ادیان عالم وبین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کے نیوز لیٹر کا بھی اجراء کیا گیا۔
