The Mevlana exchange program between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and the universities of Türkiye has been restored and active for coming five years. Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, has congratulated the faculty terming this agreement a mile stone for academic cooperation with brotherly Muslim country Türkiye. The Vice Chancellor also praised the efforts of Dr Ghulam Hassan Abbasi for making this agreement restored and functional. Under this program, the agreement between Selcuk University Konya and Islamia University Bahawalpur on mutual cooperation and collaboration in teaching and research has been signed by Selcuk University Konya Rector Prof Dr Metin Aksoy while  Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur had signed it a few days ago. Under this agreement, the teachers of the two universities will be able to visit each other for lecture series, while students will also be able to visit each other and continue teaching activities. According to the agreement, researchers can carry out their teaching activities in both universities. In this regard, they can participate in conferences and workshops as well as exchange research and teaching materials. Both universities will also make progress for joint research projects. Among the subjects in which teachers and students can benefit from the exchange program are Food Science and Technology, Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Technology, Economics, Business and Management studies, History, Pharmacy, Persian language and Literature, International Relations and Agriculture are included. Under this program, 390 students and 130 teachers will benefit in the exchange program of 8 months and 3 months.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور برادر اسلامی ملک ترکیہ کی جامعات کے مابین اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات کے تبادلہ اور تعلیمی تعاون اور اشتراک کے لیے مولانا ایکسچینج پروگرام کو آئندہ پانچ سالوں کے لیے فعال کر دیا گیا ہے۔ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، وائس چانسلر نے اس معاہدے کو ترکیہ کے اعلی تعلیمی اداروں کے ساتھ تعاون کے لیے سنگ میل قرار دیتے ہوئے اساتذہ اور  طلباء وطالبات کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے اس معاہدے کو بحال کرنے اور فعال بنانے پر ڈاکٹر غلام حسن عباسی ڈائریکٹر فنانشل اسسٹنس کی کاوشوں کی بھی تعریف کی۔ اس پروگرام کے تحت سیلکوک یونیورسٹی قونیہ اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے درمیان درس و تحقیق میں باہمی تعاون اور اشتراک کے معاہدے پر سیلکوک یونیورسٹی قونیہ کے ریکٹر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر متین اکسوئے جبکہ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کچھ دن پہلے دستخط کئے۔ اس معاہدے کے تحت دونوں یونیورسٹیوں کے اساتذہ لیکچر سیریز کے لیے ایک دوسرے سے تعاون و اشتراک کریں گے جب کہ طلبہ بھی ایک دوسرے کے تعلیمی سرگرمیاں جاری رکھ سکیں گے ۔ معاہدے کے مطابق محققین دونوں یونیورسٹیوں میں اپنی تحقیقی سرگرمیاں سر انجام دے سکتے ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں وہ کانفرنسوں اور ورکشاپس میں شرکت کے ساتھ ساتھ تحقیقی اور تدریسی مواد کا تبادلہ بھی کر سکتے ہیں۔ دونوں یونیورسٹیاں مشترکہ تحقیقی منصوبوں کے لیے بھی پیش رفت کریں گی۔ جن مضامین میں اساتذہ اور طلباء تبادلہ پروگرام سے مستفید ہو سکتے ہیں ان میں فوڈ سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی، سوائل سائنس، پلانٹ نیوٹریشن، کیمسٹری، بائیو کیمسٹری، ٹیکنالوجی، اکنامکس، بزنس اینڈ مینجمنٹ اسٹڈیز، تاریخ، فارمیسی، فارسی زبان و ادب، بین الاقوامی تعلقات اور زراعت شامل ہیں۔  اس پروگرام کے تحت 3 ماہ اور 8 ماہ کے تبادلے کے پروگرام میں 390 طلبا ؤ طالبات اور 130 اساتذہ مستفید ہوں گے۔
