The selection board meeting for faculty positions in various departments was held at the IUB

The selection board meeting of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. The meeting was attended by board members Member Provincial Assembly and Member Syndicate Mian Muhammad Shoaib Owaisi, Professor Dr. Omer Chaudhry Vice Chancellor GC University Lahore, Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman Retired Professor University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Najam Waheed Member Punjab Public Service Commission Lahore and Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur-Rehman. In the meeting, 13 candidates were interviewed for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, 16 candidates for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Nursing, 8 candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing, 2 candidates for the post of Associate Professor in the Department of Finance and 1 candidate for the post of Professor in the Department of Economics. Similarly, interviews were conducted with candidates for TTS promotion to Associate Professor for the Department of Economics, Department of Botany, Department of Anatomy and Histology, Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Physics, University College of Conventional Medicine and Department of Mathematics. On the special instructions of the Vice Chancellor, a selection board was organized for the teaching departments in which the selection process was completed on the basis of merit.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی سلیکشن بورڈ کا اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹرمحمد کامران کی زیر صدارت بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں بورڈ اراکین رکن صوبائی اسمبلی و ممبر سینڈیکیٹ میاں محمد شعیب اویسی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عمر چوہدری وائس چانسلر جی سی یونیورسٹی لاہور، ڈاکٹر حبیب الرحمن ریٹارئرڈ پروفیسر یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی لاہور، نجم وحید ممبر پنجاب پبلک سروس کمیشن لاہور اور رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن شریک ہوئے۔ اجلا س میں شعبہ آرکیٹکچر میں لیکچرر کے عہدے کے لیے 13 امیدواروں، شعبہ نرسنگ میں لیکچرر کے عہدے کے لیے 16 امیدواروں، شعبہ نرسنگ میں اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر کے عہدے کے لیے 8 امیدواروں، شعبہ فنانس میں ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر کے عہدے کے لیے 2 اور شعبہ اکنامکس میں پروفیسر کے عہدے کے لیے 1 امیدوار کے انٹرویو کیے گئے۔ اسی طرح ٹی ٹی ایس پروموشن برائے ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر کے لیے شعبہ اکنامکس، شعبہ باٹنی، شعبہ اناٹومی اینڈ ہسٹالوجی، شعبہ فارماسوٹیکس، انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس، یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشل میڈیسن اور شعبہ ریاضی کے لیے امیدواروں سے انٹرویو کیے گئے۔ وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی ہدایت پر تدریسی شعبوں کے لیے سلیکشن بورڈ کا اہتمام ہوا جس میں میرٹ کی بنیاد پر سلیکشن کا عمل مکمل کیا گیا۔
