The Syndicate of IUB has approved the proposed rain enhancement to convert the Cholistan desert into agro-economic zone

The Syndicate of Islamia University Bahawalpur has approved the proposed rain enhancement project of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur to convert the Cholistan desert into agro-economic zone. The 81st Syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur approved this project which plays an important role in the restoration of food security and agricultural economy of the country. The syndicate members appreciated the efforts of the scientists under the patronage of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for the country's agricultural self-sufficiency and expressed their best wishes for the success of this project. For this project, the scientists of National Research Center for Intercropping Technology the Islamia University of Bahawalpur worked round the clock on this project through cooperation and collaboration with domestic and foreign institutions. Under this project, through ionization technology which is based on the principles of physics and is environment friendly. Moreover, it is safer and more effective than the old technology of raining by spraying chemicals on clouds. Punjab government and federal government institutions are already cooperating with Jamia Islamia in this regard. The main objective of this project is national food security and is consistent with the long-term development goals of the United Nations and initiatives with positive effects for the country's economy. The Vice Chancellor has congratulated the Director National Research Center for Intercropping Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza, scientists and faculty members for approving the project.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی سینڈیکیٹ نے صحرائے چولستان کو ایگر واکنامک زون میں بدلنے کے لیے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے مجوزہ بارش میں اضافے کے پراجیکٹ کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی 81 ویں سینڈیکیٹ نے وطن عزیز کی فوڈ سیکورٹی اور زرعی معیشت کی بحالی میں اہم کر دار کے حامل اس منصوبے کو منظور کیا۔ سینڈیکیٹ ممبران نے ملک کی زرعی خود کفالت کے لیے انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورکی سرپرستی میں سائنسدانوں کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور اس منصوبے کی کامیابی کے لیے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا۔ اس منصوبے کے لیے نیشنل ریسرچ سنٹر فار انٹرکراپنگ ٹیکنالوجی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے سائنسدانوں نے ملکی اور غیر ملکی اداروں کے ساتھ تعاون اور اشتراک کے ذریعے اس منصوبے  پر شبانہ روز کام کیا۔ اس منصوبے کے تحت آئیونائزیشن ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے جو فزکس کے اصولوں پر مبنی ہے اور ماحول دوست ہے۔ مزید براں جو بادلوں پر کیمیائی اجزاء کے چھڑکاؤ سے بارش برسانے والی پرانی ٹیکنالوجی سے زیادہ محفوظ اور موثر ہے۔ حکومت پنجاب اور وفاقی حکومت کے ادارے اس سلسلے میں پہلے ہی جامعہ اسلامیہ سے اشتراک کر رہے ہیں۔ اس منصوبے کا اہم مقصد نیشنل فوڈ سیکورٹی ہے اور اقوام متحدہ کے دیر پا ترقی کے اہداف اور ملکی معیشت کے لیے مثبت اثرات کے حامل اقدامات سے مطابقت رکھتے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر نے اس منصوبے کی منظوری پر ڈائریکٹر نیشنل ریسرچ سنٹر فار انٹرکراپنگ ڈاکٹر محمد علی رضا، سائنسدانوں اور فیکلٹی ممبران کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔
