Tree plantation campaign was started at Islamia University Bahawalpur Rahim Yar Khan Campus

Bahawalpur (PR) A tree plantation campaign kick started at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Rahim Yar Khan Campus, organised by the Directorate of Student Affairs and Estate Care. On this occasion, Campus Director Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Athar Khan, senior faculty members and students planted trees. Director Campus said that the increase in global temperature due to climate change is a threat to biological survival on the planet, including humans. The only solution to this problem is to do plantations at a large scale. In this regard, teachers and students are planting saplings in the Rahim Yar Khan campus during the recent rainy season. On this occasion, teachers, dignitaries of the city, and students participated.

بہاول پور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور رحیم یار خان کیمپس میں ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اور اسٹیٹ کیئر کے اشتراک سے شجر کاری مہم کا آغاز کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر کیمپس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ محمد اطہر خان، سینئر فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلبا و طالبات نے پودے لگائے۔ ڈائریکٹر کیمپس نے کہا کہ موسمیاتی تغیرات کی وجہ سے عالمی درجہ حرارت میں اضافہ انسانوں سمیت کرہ ارض پر حیاتیاتی بقاء کے لیے خطرہ ہے۔ اس مسئلے کا ایک ہی حل ہے کہ بہت بڑے پیمانے پر شجرکاری کی جاے۔ اسی سلسلے میں حالیہ موسم برسات میں رحیم یارخان کیمپس میں اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات پودے لگارہے ہیں۔ اس موقع پر اساتذہ، معززین شہر اور طلبا و طالبات نے شرکت کی۔
