Under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, the 55th meeting of the Academic Council of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The meeting was attended by deans, professors, principal Colleges and heads of teaching departments. Director Academics Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal presented a report on the implementation of the decisions taken in the last meeting. In the meeting, the amendment in the syllabus of various educational programs was approved. The meeting approved teaching of multi-disciplines at PhD level in Homeopathic Medical Sciences, Pharmacognosy, Arts, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Islamic and Conventional Banking, Sports Sciences, Social Sciences and Education. PhD theses and semester progress reports are also approved. In the meeting, the proposed amendments to the rules for PhD and MPhil in various subjects were also considered. Additionally, Administrative Sciences, Project Operation Management, Physics, Post-Graduation College, Botany, Institute of Agro Industry and Environment, Pharmacology, Forestry, Economics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Computer Sciences, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, Bachelor of Architecture, Archaeology, Civil Engineering, Nursing, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, Telecommunication, Cyber Security agenda items related to various topics at BS, MPhil and PhD level were also considered in the subjects. In the meeting, it was approved to increase the number of seats and sections in view of the high number of admission applications in various teaching programs.

 اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی اکیڈمک کونسل کا 55 واں اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی زیر صدارت بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلا س میں ڈینز، پروفیسرز، پرنسپل کالجز اور تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان نے شرکت کی۔ ڈائریکٹر اکیڈمکس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال نے گزشتہ اجلاس میں کیے گئے فیصلوں پر عملدرآمد کی رپورٹ پیش کی۔ اجلاس میں مختلف تدریسی پروگراموں کے نصاب میں ترمیم کی منظوری دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں ہومیوپیتھک میڈیکل سائنسز، فارماکو گنوسی، آرٹس، عربی، اسلامک سٹڈیز، اسلامک اور کنونشنل بینکنگ، سپورٹس سائنسز، سوشل سائنسز اور ایجوکیشن میں پی ایچ ڈی کی سطح پر کثیرالمضامین کی تدریسی کی منظوری دی گئی۔ پی ایچ ڈی مقالات اور سیمسٹر پراگریس رپورٹ کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں مختلف مضامین میں پی ایچ ڈی اور ایم فل کے قوانین میں مجوزہ ترمیم بھی زیر غور آئیں۔ مزید برآں ایڈمنسٹریٹو سائنسز، پروجیکٹ آپریشن مینجمنٹ، فزکس، پوسٹ گریجویکشن کالج، باٹنی، انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ایگرو انڈسٹری اینڈ اینوائرمنٹ، فارماکولوجی، فارسٹری، اکنامکس، بائیو کیمسٹری، بائیو ٹیکنالوجی، مائیکروبائیولوجی، بائیو انفارمیٹکس، کیمپوٹر سائنسز، الیکٹرونک انجینئرنگ، الیکٹریکل انجینئرنگ، انفارمیشن سیکورٹی، بیچلر آف آرکیٹیکچر، آرکیالوجی، سول انجینئرنگ، نرسنگ، سافٹ ویئر انجینئرنگ، بائیو ٹیکنالوجی، ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن، سائبر سیکورٹی جیسے مضامین میں بی ایس، ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی سطح پر مختلف امور سے متعلق ایجنڈا آیٹمز بھی زیر غور آئے۔ اجلاس میں مختلف تدریسی پروگراموں میں زیادہ داخلہ درخواستوں کے پیش نظر سیٹوں اور سیکشنز کی تعداد بڑھانے کی منظوری دی گئی۔
