Nawab of Bahawalpur Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi V has made valuable contributions to the establishment and stability of Pakistan. During the reign of Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V, Islamic unity, adherence to Islamic motto and social and cultural values are still our guiding principles today. Education, health, justice, infrastructure, industry and crafts and especially the spread of democratic traditions are still the guarantors of the development and prosperity of this region. These views were expressed by Vice Chancellor of Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, at the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition of objects and photographs used by the Nawab Sahib "Riyasat Ki Kahani - In the words of pictures" organized by the Bahawalpur Museum today on the occasion of the 59th death anniversary of the Nawab of Bahawalpur. He said that this photo exhibition organized by the museum to pay tribute to the Nawab of Bahawalpur is systematically describing the era. The Vice Chancellor said that this event, led by Director Museum Muhammad Zubair Rabbani, is covering all aspects of the state period, especially the life of the last ruler. On this occasion, the Director of the Museum also presented Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran with an Ajrak and a souvenir. Earlier, Director of Bahawalpur Museum Muhammad Zubair Rabbani, while briefing the Vice Chancellor, said that remembering our benefactors and following their welfare and constructive initiatives is the way of living nations. The aim of this exhibition is to provide access to the public through the platform of the museum to those objects of the state that are of heritage for us and research importance for researchers. He said that on the occasion of every anniversary, the administration organizes various activities to bring out rare objects and pictures, including indoor and outdoor exhibitions, art camps and other programs, so that the practical steps of our state, the democratic attitude of the Nawab of Bahawalpur, and his vision can be conveyed to every school of thought. The ceremony was attended by members of the Abbasia family, professors, doctors, teachers, students from the departments of history, Pakistan studies, law, social sciences, and civil society, and they greatly appreciated the museum's initiative to provide access to the objects on display.

بہاولپور ( ) نواب آف بہاولپور سر صادق خان عباسی خامس کی قیام و استحکام پاکستان کے لیے گراں قدر خدمات ہیں۔ نواب سر صادق محمد خان عباسی پنجم کے دور میں وحدت اسلامی، اسلامی شعار کی پابندی اور معاشرتی و ثقافتی اقدار آج بھی ہمارے بھی مشعل راہ ہیں۔ تعلیم، صحت، عدل وانصاف، انفراسٹرکچر صنعت و حرفت اور بالخصوص جمہوری روایات کا فروخ آج بھی اس خطہ کی ترقی و خوشحالی کے ضامن ہیں۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے آج بہاولپور میوزیم کے زیر اہتمام نواب آف بہاولپور کی 59 ویں برسی کے حوالے سے  نواب صاحب کے زیر استعمال اشیاء و تصویری نمائش "ریاست کی کہانی ۔۔ تصاویر کی زبانی" کی افتتاحی تقریب میں کیا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ نواب آف بہاولپور کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنے کے لیے میوزیم کے زیر اہتمام منعقدہ یہ تصویری نمائش عہد رفتہ کو منظم انداز میں بیان کررہی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ ڈائریکٹر میوزیم محمد زبیر ربانی کی قیادت میں ہونے والی یہ تقریب ریاستی ادور بالخصوص آخری فرمانروا کی زندگی کے تمام پہلوؤں کا احاطہ کررہی ہے۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر میوزیم کی جانب سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کو اجرک اور سوئنیر بھی پیش کیا گیا ۔ قبل ازیں ڈائریکٹر بہاولپور میوزیم محمد زبیر ربانی نے وائس چانسلر کو بریف کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اپنے محسنوں کو یاد رکھنا اور ان کے فلاحی و تعمیری اقدامات پر عمل پیرا ہونا زندہ قوموں کا شیوہ ہے۔ اس نمائش کا مقصد میوزیم کے پلیٹ فارم سے عوام الناس کو ریاست کی ان اشیاء تک رسائی دینا ہے جو ہمارے لیے ورثہ اور محققین کے لیے تحقیقی اہمیت کی حامل ہیں۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ انتظامیہ کی جانب سے ہر برسی کے موقع پر نایاب اشیاء و تصاویر کو سامنے لانے کے لیے مختلف سرگرمیاں تشکیل دی جاتی ہیں جن میں ان ڈور اور آؤٹ ڈور نمائشیں، آرٹ کیمپٹشیز و دیگر پروگرام شامل ہیں تاکہ اپنی ریاست عملی اقدامات، نواب آف بہاولپور کا جمہوری رویہ نیز ان کے ویژن کو ہر مکتبہ فکر تک منتقل کیا جاسکے۔ تقریب میں خاندان عباسیہ کے افراد، پروفیسر، ڈاکٹرز، اساتذہ کرام، شعبہ تاریخ، مطالعہ پاکستان، قانون، سوشل سائنسز سمیت کثیر تعداد میں طلبہ و طالبات اور سول سوسائٹی نے شرکت کی اور زیر نمائش اشیاء تک رسائی دینے کے لیے میوزیم کو اقدام کو بے حد سراہا۔
