The Department of Data Science, Faculty of Computing, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a signing ceremony to formalize collaboration with Enablers, an organization working in entrepreneurship, e-commerce, digital skills, training, mentorship, and industry-oriented learning. The Letter of Intent was signed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor and Saqib Azhar, CEO and Co-Founder, Enablers. Dr. Faheem Mushtaq Bajwa, Chairman, Department of Data Science and Focal Person, facilitated the collaboration. The collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia linkages and student career development through internships, industry visits, expert talks, mentoring, networking, and professional development. It will also support Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization through workshops, boot camps, seminars, guest lectures, and practical training. The partnership will further promote entrepreneurship and innovation through startup awareness, hackathons, innovation challenges, mentoring, and business-model development; facilitate joint research, applied projects, Final Year Projects, capstone projects, case studies, and data-driven solutions; and provide capacity building and knowledge exchange in areas including responsible AI, data ethics, privacy, cyber security awareness, and digital safety. The parties will also collaborate on conferences, seminars, technology summits, career events, exhibitions, competitions, awareness programs, industry engagement, digital transformation initiatives, and development of industry-relevant learning resources and practical case studies. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computing, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem, Dean, Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zawar Hussain, Chairman, Department of Statistics, Dr. Humaira Arshad, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Dr. Faheem Mushtaq Bajwa, Chairman, Department of Data Science and Focal Person, Heads/representatives of Enablers Karachi and Bahawalpur, faculty members from various departments, and university administration. The collaboration marks an important step towards connecting academic learning with industry exposure, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, research, and professional opportunities, particularly for students and faculty in Data Science and related disciplines.

شعبہ ڈیٹا سائنس فیکلٹی آف کمپیوٹنگ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے اینبلرز کے ساتھ باضابطہ اشتراکِ عمل کے لیے ایک تقریب کا انعقاد کیا۔اینبلرزایک ایسا ادارہ ہے جو انٹرپرینیورشپ، ای کامرس، ڈیجیٹل مہارتوں، تربیت،مینٹورشپ اور صنعت سے ہم آہنگ تعلیم کے شعبوں میں سرگرمِ عمل ہے۔ اس معاہدے کے لیٹر آف انٹینٹ پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور اینبلرز کے سی ای او و شریک بانی ثاقب اظہر نے دستخط کیے۔ شعبہ ڈیٹا سائنس کے چیئرمین اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق باجوہ نے اس اشتراکِ عمل کو ممکن بنانے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔ اس تعاون کا مقصد انٹرنشپس، صنعتی دوروں، ماہرین کے لیکچرز، رہنمائی، نیٹ ورکنگ اور پیشہ ورانہ ترقی کے ذریعے صنعت اور تعلیمی اداروں کے درمیان روابط کو مضبوط بنانا اور طلبہ کے کیریئر کی تعمیر و ترقی میں معاونت کرنا ہے۔ یہ اشتراک ورکشاپس، بوٹ کیمپس، سیمینارز، مہمان مقررین کے لیکچرز اور عملی تربیت کے ذریعے ڈیٹا سائنس، آرٹیفیشل انٹیلی جنس، مشین لرننگ، جنریٹو اے آئی ، ڈیٹا اینالیٹکس، بزنس انٹیلی جنس اور ڈیٹا ویژولائزیشن کے شعبوں میں بھی معاون ثابت ہوگا۔ یہ شراکت داری اسٹارٹ اپ آگاہی، ہیکاتھونز، انوویشن چیلنجز، رہنمائی اور کاروباری ماڈل کی تشکیل کے ذریعے انٹرپرینیورشپ اور جدت طرازی کو فروغ دے گی۔ مشترکہ تحقیق، اطلاقی منصوبوں، فائنل ایئر پروجیکٹس، کیپ اسٹون پروجیکٹس، کیس اسٹڈیز اور ڈیٹا پر مبنی حل کی تیاری میں سہولت فراہم کرے گیاور ذمہ دارانہ اے آئی ، ڈیٹا کے اخلاقی اصولوں، پرائیویسی، سائبر سیکیورٹی سے متعلق آگاہی اور ڈیجیٹل تحفظ جیسے شعبوں میں استعدادِ کار بڑھانے اور علم کے تبادلے کا موقع فراہم کرے گی۔ فریقین کانفرنسوں، سیمینارز، ٹیکنالوجی سمٹس، کیریئر ایونٹس، نمائشوں، مقابلوں، آگاہی مہمات، صنعت کے ساتھ روابط، ڈیجیٹل تبدیلی کے اقدامات اور صنعت سے متعلقہ تعلیمی وسائل و عملی کیس اسٹڈیز کی تیاری میں بھی باہمی تعاون کریں گے۔ تقریب میں ڈین فیکلٹی آف کمپیوٹنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر دوست محمد خان، ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سلیم، چیئرمین شعبہ شماریات پروفیسر ڈاکٹر زوار حسین، شعبہ کمپیوٹر سائنس کی ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حمیرا ارشد، شعبہ ڈیٹا سائنس کے چیئرمین اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر فہیم مشتاق باجوہ، اینبلز کراچی اور بہاولپور کے سربراہان/نمائندگان، مختلف شعبہ جات کے اساتذہ اور یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ نے شرکت کی۔
