Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Pro Vice Chancellor along with Deans and Heads of various departments attended the online meeting of Punjab Higher Education Commission. In the meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Iqrar A. Khan Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission, Vice Chancellors of various universities of Punjab and stakeholders discussed in detail the job trends in the local and global job market for university graduates and job opportunities through skills development. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran emphasized on improving the quality of education as well as globalization of teaching activities and making them compatible and modern with international standards. He said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has extraordinary potential in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Veterinary, Agriculture, IT and Management Sciences and now their entire focus is on improving the quality of education and practically increasing international links so that our teaching and research standards are in line with the universities of developed countries. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf emphasized on modernizing the curriculum as well as an interdisciplinary approach so that graduates who are compatible with the new requirements can be prepared who can have access to many subjects and skills at the same time and improves their job opportunities. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Syed Aamir Sohail, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem, Chairman of the Department of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Chairman of the Department of Social Work and student Maham Rafique also spoke. The Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission termed the suggestions and opinions presented by the Vice Chancellor and faculty of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur as very positive and useful.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف پرو وائس چانسلر نے ڈینز اور مختلف شعبہ جات کے سربراہان کے ہمراہ پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی آن لائن میٹنگ میں شرکت کی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اقرار اے خان چیئرمین پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی زیر صدارت ہونے والے اجلاس میں پنجاب کی مختلف جامعات کے وائس چانسلرز اور اسٹیک ہولڈر نے یونیورسٹی گریجویٹس کے لیئے مقامی اور عالمی جاب مارکیٹ مستقبل میں ملازمت کے رجحانات اور سکلز ڈویلپمنٹ سے ملازمت کے مواقعوں سے متعلق تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے معیار تعلیم کی بہتری کے ساتھ ساتھ تدریسی سرگرمیوں کی عالمگیریت اور بین الاقوامی معیارات سے ہم آہنگ اور جدید بنانے پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور انجینئرنگ فارمیسی ہیلتھ سائنسز وٹرنری زراعت آئی ٹی اور مینجمنٹ سائنسز کے شعبوں میں غیر معمولی پوٹینشل کی حامل ہے اور اب ان کا سارا فوکس تعلیم کے معیار کی بہتری اور عملی طور پر بین الاقوامی روابط کو بڑھانا ہے تاکہ ہمارے تدریسی و تحقیقی معیارات ترقی یافتہ ملکوں کی جامعات سے ہم آہنگ ہوں۔ پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف نے نصاب کو جدید بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ انٹرڈسپلنری اپروچ پر زور دیا تاکہ نئے تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ ایسے گریجویٹس تیار ہوں جو ایک ہی وقت میں کئی مضامین اور سکلز پر دسترس رکھتے ہوئے اپنے لئے ملازمت کے مواقع بہتر بناسکے۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید عامر سہیل ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگویجز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سلیم چیئرمین شعبہ اپلائیڈ سائیکالوجی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا چیئرمین شعبہ سوشل ورک اور طالبہ ماہم رفیق نے بھی اظہار خیال کیا۔ چیئرمین پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے وائس چانسلر اور فیکلٹی کی جانب سے پیش کی گئی تجاویز اور آراء کو انتہائی مثبت اور مفید قرار دیا۔
