Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, chaired an important meeting with the Treasurer Office and the Directorate of Information Technology. The meeting was convened to review the existing financial ecosystem of the University, with particular focus on enhancing financial transparency and exploring the implementation of a Double Entry Accounting System.

During the session, the Directorate of Information Technology presented an overview of the current financial system and its integration with the University’s overall business processes, while the representatives of the Treasurer Office identified key gaps and areas requiring improvement. After detailed deliberations, the Vice Chancellor directed the Treasurer Office to propose the most suitable financial model in accordance with the University’s institutional requirements, and instructed the Directorate of Information Technology to ensure its effective implementation in true spirit, in close coordination with the Treasurer Office.
