Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran paid a visit to Radio Pakistan in Islamabad.

Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran visited Radio Pakistan Islamabad yesterday. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Director General of Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh and Station Director Radio Pakistan Islamabad, Imran Javed. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran was given a detailed tour of the Historical Museum of Radio Pakistan. This museum houses artifacts that have become milestones in the broadcasting history of Pakistan. The Vice Chancellor saw old radio stations, recording equipment, machinery used for historical broadcasting, and all the installations that are still preserved in their original condition. The first radio station in the museum from which the Declaration of Independence of Pakistan was broadcast was of special interest to Dr. Muhammad Kamran. He closely examined the structure, technical aspects, and historical role of this station. This is the same place from where the historic voice of "This is Radio Pakistan" echoed on August 14, 1947, and this moment formed the foundation of Pakistan's broadcasting history and it is believed that this radio station is the creation of the hands of Marconi, the inventor of radio. He expressed deep interest in this historical heritage.

بہاولپور ( پ ر) وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے گزشتہ روز ریڈیو پاکستان اسلام آباد کا دورہ کیا۔ ان کی آمد پر ریڈیو پاکستان کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل محمد سعید شیخ اور اسٹیشن ڈائریکٹر ریڈیو پاکستان اسلام آباد عمران جاوید نے پرتپاک استقبال کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کو ریڈیو پاکستان کے تاریخی میوزیم کا تفصیلی دورہ کرایا گیا۔ اس میوزیم میں وہ نوادرات موجود ہیں جنہوں نے پاکستان کی نشریاتی تاریخ میں سنگ میل کی حیثیت اختیار کی۔ وائس چانسلر نے پرانے ریڈیو اسٹیشن، ریکارڈنگ کے آلات، تاریخی نشریات کے لیے استعمال ہونے والی مشینری، اور وہ تمام تنصیبات دیکھیں جو آج بھی اپنی اصل حالت میں محفوظ ہیں۔ میوزیم میں موجود وہ پہلا ریڈیو اسٹیشن جس سے پاکستان کی آزادی کا اعلان نشر کیا گیا تھا، ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کے لیے خصوصی دلچسپی کا باعث بنا۔ انہوں نے اس اسٹیشن کی ساخت، تکنیکی پہلوؤں، اور اس کےتاریخی کردار کا باریک بینی سے جائزہ لیا۔ یہ وہی مقام ہے جہاں سے 14 اگست 1947 کو" یہ ریڈیو پاکستان ہے" کی تاریخی صدا گونجی تھی، اور یہی لمحہ پاکستان کی نشریاتی تاریخ کی بنیاد بنا اور قیاس ہے کہ یہ ریڈیو سٹیشن ریڈیو کے موجد مارکونی کے ہاتھوں کی تخلیق ہے۔ انہوں نے اس تاریخی ورثے میں گہری دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔
