Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran visited and reviewed the Day Care Center at Abbasia Campus

Vice Chancellor of Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran visited the day care center being established at Abbasia Campus. The Vice Chancellor said that with the special cooperation of the Punjab Government, four day care centers are being established at Abbasia Campus, Khawaja Farid Campus, and Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan sub-campuses. Female teachers and employees will benefit from these day care centers. The Vice Chancellor directed that working women associated with other government institutions should be made aware of this facility so that they can send their children to the day care center. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Chairman Department of Social Work, briefed about the details of the establishment of four new day care centers in the university. The Vice Chancellor emphasized that along with quality facilities, trained staff should be prepared to take care of the children. Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Prof. Dr. Samar Fahad, Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Dr. Muhammad Khalid Sheikh were present on the occasion.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے عباسیہ کیمپس میں قائم کیے جانے والے ڈے کیئر سنٹر کا دورہ کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب کے خصوصی تعاون سے عباسیہ کیمپس، خواجہ فرید کیمپس، اور بہاولنگر و رحیم یار خان سب کیمپسز میں چار ڈے کیئر سنٹرز قائم کیے جارہے ہیں۔ان ڈے کیئر سنٹرسے خواتین اساتذہ، اور ملازمین مستفید ہوں گی۔ وائس چانسلر نے ہدایت کی کہ دیگر سرکاری اداروں سے بھی وابستہ ورکنگ خواتین کو اس سہولت سے آگاہی دی جائے تاکہ وہ اپنے بچوں کو ڈے کیئر سنٹر میں بھیج سکیں۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا چیئرمین شعبہ سوشل ورک نے جامعہ میں چار نئے ڈے کیئر سنٹرز کے قیام کی تفصیلات سے آگاہ کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ معیاری سہولیات کے ساتھ ساتھ بچوں کی دیکھ بھال کے لیے تربیت یافتہ عملہ تیار کیا جائے ۔ اس موقع پرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسداللہ مدنی،  پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ثمر فہد، ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد، ڈاکٹرمحمد خالد شیخ موجود تھے۔
