Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran's direct interaction with students in the first Student Panchayat

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the aim of the Student Panchayat is to establish direct contact between the Vice Chancellor and the students. He said that the happiness and success of the students is our happiness and success. Similarly, the problems of the students are our problems which will be heard and resolved immediately. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while addressing the first meeting of the Student Panchayat held in the Central Auditorium. He said that our students are rich in talent and ability and our aim is to develop their talent by directly contacting them so that they can become responsible, patriotic and successful citizens and face the challenges facing the country and nation. He said that the recent confrontation with the enemy country and our success in the battle of Haq Operation “Bunyan Al-Marsoos” is a living and enduring example of national unity. Students should also adorn their individual and collective lives with high moral values and for this, Seerat Pak is the best example. He said that a code of conduct has been prepared for class functions. The basis of this code of conduct is our Islamic values, two-nation theory and local cultural traditions which are the literary and cultural identity of the Bahawalpur region. This code of conduct will be applicable to all the functions of the university and it will be read out to the students at the same time and will be displayed on the university website. The Panchayat was attended by Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Director Academics Professor Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Director Students Affairs Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf, Director Advanced Studies Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid and teachers. Dr. Sajila Kausar read out the code of conduct for student functions. The event was directed by Deputy Registrar Public Affairs Fatima Junaid. At the end of the Panchayat, the students apprised the Vice Chancellor of their problems and suggestions in detail. The Vice Chancellor said that after the successful launch of the first Panchayat, this series will be continued regularly so that a coherent chain of communication is established between the students and the head of the institution. On this occasion, the students thanked the Vice Chancellor for the launch of the Panchayat.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا ہے کہ طلبہ پنچائیت کا مقصد وائس چانسلر اور طلباء و طالبات کے درمیان براہ راست رابطہ قائم کرنا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ طلباء و طالبات دل کی خوش اور کامیابی ہماری خوشی اور کامیابی ہے۔ اسی طرح طلباء و طالبات کے مسائل ہمارے مسائل ہیں جنہیں فوری سنا اور حل کیا جائے گا۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار مرکزی آڈیٹوریم میں منعقدہ طلبہ پنچائیت کے پہلے اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے طلباء و طالبات ٹیلنٹ اور قابلیت سے مالا مال ہیں اور ہمارا مقصد ان سے براہ راست رابطہ کرکے انکے ٹیلنٹ کو نکھارنا ہے تاکہ وہ ذمہ دار محب وطن اور کامیاب شہری بن کر ملک و قوم کو درپیش چیلنجوں کا سامنا کرسکیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دشمن ملک سے حالیہ محاذ آرائی اور اسکے نتیجے میں معرکہ حق آپریشن بنیان المرصوص میں ہماری کامیابی ایک  قومی یکجہتی کی زندہ و جاوید مثال ہے۔ طلباء و طالبات بھی اپنی انفرادی اور اجتماعی زندگیوں کو اعلٰی اخلاقی اقدار سے مزین کریں اور اسکے لئیے سیرت پاک بہترین نمونہ ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کلاسوں کے فنکشنز کے لئے ایک ضابطہ اخلاق ترتیب دے دیا گیا ہے۔ اس ضابطہ اخلاق کی بنیاد ہماری اسلامی اقدار، دو قومی نظریہ کی اور مقامی تہذیبی روایات ہیں جو خطہ بہاولپور کی ادبی اور ثقافتی پہچان ہیں۔ اس ضابطہ اخلاق کا اطلاق یونیورسٹی کی تمام تقاریب پر ہوگا اور اسے اسی وقت طلباء و طالبات کو پڑھ کر سنایا جائے گا اور یونیورسٹی ویب سائٹ پر آویزاں کردیا جاے گا۔ پنچائیت میں ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی، ڈائریکٹر اکیڈیمکس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال، ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرؤوف، ڈائریکٹر ایڈوانسڈ اسٹڈیز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا، ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد اور اساتذہ شریک ہوے۔ ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر نے طلبہ تقاریب کے لیے ضابطہ اخلاق پڑھ کر سنایا۔ تقریب کی نظامت ڈپٹی رجسٹرار پبلک افیئرز فاطمہ جنید نے سرانجام دی۔ پنچائیت کے آخر میں طلباء و طالبات نے وائس چانسلر کو اپنے مسائل اور تجاویز سے تفصیلی آگاہ کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ پہلی پنچائیت کے کامیاب آغاز کے بعد اس سلسلے کو باقاعدگی سے جاری رکھا جاے گا تاکہ طلباء و طالبات اور ادارے کے سربراہ کے درمیان رابطے کا مربوط سلسلہ قائم ہو۔ اس موقع پر طلباء وطالبات نے پنچائیت کے آغاز پر وائس چانسلر کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
