Profile Summary

Dr. Moazzam Khan Durrani specializes in the material culture of the Bahawalpur state. He studied the Bahawalpur region for his Master, M. Phil., and Doctoral dissertations. He teaches at Islamia University of Bahawalpur's Department of Anthropology. He was a Research Fellow at the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge UK. Moazzam Khan Durrani is a collaborator for the Project MAHSA (Mapping Archaeological Heritage of South Asia) University of Cambridge. Mr. Durrani presented his Research at various national and international forums.He collaborated with the Noor Mahal Museum Management Committee to establish the Museum at Noor Mahal. He played a pivotal role in the conservation, and preservation of built Heritage (Noor Mahal). He also curated various galleries at Noor Mahal. he was the man behind the restoration of the Basement of Noor Mahal after 110 years. He was a man with the unique idea of developing a Light and Sound show at Noor Mahal and wrote Story Board for a Laser light show. He was the one with the idea of developing the Replica of the Indus Queen at Noor Mahal.
