Ph.D and MS/M.Phil & Equivalent Program Review (2024-25)

Self- Graduate Program Review of 159 MPhil and PhD programs offered at IUB and 26 programs offered at sub-campuses were conducted on 19-20 May, 2025 in line with the guidelines of HEC, GEP 2023 and IUB MPhil /MS /LLM/ MSc (Hons) /MBA and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree Regulations-2024 for Qualification   level VII & VIII, on the basis of data provided by respective Departments. Prior to the visit of the panel, the office bearers of the QEC of the University prepared almost all proformas designed by the QAA, HEC such as

3. Faculty & scholars’ data   for Qualification level VII & VIII &  Equivalent  Program.

The Self-Review Panel consisted of Dr. Farhan Gillani, Director QEC, University of Southern Punjab (External Reviewer), Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce / Director Academics (Internal Reviewer), Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director AS&RB & Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madni, Director QEC as Internal Reviewers. Rao Mazhar Hussain, Additional Director QEC worked as Facilitator. Both reviewers meticulously assessed the MPhil and PhD programs, providing constructive feedback and valuable recommendations for further quality enhancements.

Review Panel called on the relevant heads of the teaching departments concerned, along with the updated data required to review M. Phil/MS & PhD programs. The panel carried out evaluation as per the Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines. After reviewing / verifying the documents (regarding passed out students, and joining notifications of newly appointed faculty & recommended student: teacher ratio) the panel unanimously recommended the status of the programs, as per details given below:
