The 17th meeting of the Senate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at the Abbasia Campus under the chairmanship of Governor Punjab and Chancellor Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman. In the meeting, the budget of Islamia University of Bahawalpur for the financial years 2021-22 and 2022-23 was (7058.4) (8093.9) million rupees respectively. The development budget for the said financial years is (1265.5) (2277.9) respectively. Governor Punjab and Chancellor praised the development and expansion of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur under the leadership of Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and the improvement in the quality of education, financial management and increase in research activities. In the meeting, the decisions taken in the 72nd, 73rd, 74th and 75th meetings of the Syndicate of the University were ratified. Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Abou Bakar, Controller of Examinations, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Ahmed Paracha, Deans, Heads of Departments and other distinguished members participated in the meeting.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی سینیٹ کا 17 واں اجلاس گورنر پنجاب وچانسلر انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن کی زیر صدارت عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے مالیاتی سال 2021-22 اور 2022-23 کے بالترتیب (7058.4) (8093.9) ملین روپے کی بجٹ کی منظوری دی گئی۔ مزکورہ مالیاتی سالوں کا ترقیاتی بجٹ بالترتیب (1265.5) (2277.9) ہے۔ گورنرپنجاب وچانسلر نے وائس چانسلر انجینئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی سربراہی میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں ترقی وتوسیع اور معیارِ تعلیم میں بہتری، مالیاتی نظم و نسق اور تحقیقی سرگرمیوں میں اضافے کو سراہا۔ اجلاس میں یونیورسٹی کی سینڈیکیٹ کے72ویں، 73ویں، 74ویں اور 75ویں اجلاسوں میں ہونے والے فیصلوں کی توثیق کی گئی۔ اجلاس میں وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، پرووائس چانسلرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر، رجسٹرار پروفیسرڈاکٹر معظم جمیل، خزانہ دار پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ابوبکر، کنٹرولرامتحانات پرو فیسر ڈاکٹر سجاد احمد پراچہ، ڈینز، شعبہ جات کے سربراہان اوردیگر معزز ممبران شریک ہوئے۔
