3rd International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Social Sciences has concluded today

Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the 3rd international conference on Interdisciplinary Approach in Social Sciences. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtisham Anwar was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. He has appreciated the organization of a global conference on the theme of creating active and sustainable societies in the context of social sciences. Academia has a key role in social development and government and private institutions should involve educators and researchers in social and economic development projects to achieve long-term and sustainable results. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti Dean Faculty of Social Sciences said in her address that social sciences have a key role in social development and sustainability and community development cannot be effective without teaching and research in social sciences. She called Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Dr. Ehtisham Anwar's presence in the conference and participation in the academic discussion encouraging. The focal person of the conference, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha appreciated the participation of domestic and foreign delegates in the conference and said that the two-day conference was attended by social science experts and researchers from renowned international and national universities and officials of public and private social institutions. and social work, welfare and development, climate change and food security, gender equality, social development and sustainability, psychological and social dimensions of sustainable development, community participation and collaboration, technology and social media, and social and economic development.
