The 75th meeting of the Syndicate of Islamia University Bahawalpur was held at Abbasia Campus under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob Vice Chancellor. The meeting discussed and approved the teaching, administrative and development issues. The meeting approved development projects related to the development affairs of the university with far-reaching results. These include the establishment of the Central Diagnostic Laboratory, the Green Campus Project on Environmental Management, the Institute of Languages and Cultural Studies, the establishment of a world-class printing press for the University, and the establishment of the Directorate of Tourism and Sustainability for the sustainable promotion of tourism. , Establishment of Directorate of IUB School System, Establishment of Faculty Training Center, Establishment of Enabling Center, Establishment of Career Counseling and Placement Center, Establishment of Directorate of Land Records, Establishment of Directorate of Fundraising and University Advancement, Office of Faculty Industrial Engagement Establishment of Institute of Culture and Heritage Center, Establishment of Sadiq Dost Executive Club, Establishment of Community Broadcasting (Radio & TV) Project. The meeting also approved to activate Nawab Sir Sadiq Mohammad Khan Abbasi Fifth Chair. The Department of Iqbaliat was also approved for the global promotion of Allama Iqbal's teachings. Similarly, steps were approved to activate Khwaja Ghulam Farid Chair. Eastern Medicine College Bahawalpur has been approved to be included in Islamia University Bahawalpur. In addition, to increase the number of scholarships for students, the Directorate of Financial Assistance for international recognition and international connections approved the establishment of International Linkages Directorate. The meeting also approved the appointment of Faculty Deans and Chairman Departments. Similarly, the service structure for laboratory, security and other supporting staff was also approved. The appointment of faculty members and officers was also approved as per the recommendations made by the previous selection boards. The decisions taken in the previous Academic Council were also approved. New names for the University College of Nursing and the Institute of Business Administration Sciences were also approved. Other administrative matters were also discussed in the meeting and the ongoing curriculum and development activities in the university and increase in the standard of teaching and research, extraordinary trend of admissions and popularity were also appreciated.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی سینڈیکٹ کا 75واں اجلاس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر کی زیر صدارت عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں تدریسی، انتظامی اور ترقیاتی امور زیر بحث آئے اور اِن کی منظور ی دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں یونیورسٹی کے ترقیاتی معاملات سے متعلق اور دور رس نتائج کے حامل ترقیاتی منصوبوں کی منظوری دی گئی۔ ان میں سنٹرل ڈایگناسٹک لیبارٹری کا قیام، اینوائرمنٹل مینجمنٹ سے متعلقہ گرین کیمپس پراجیکٹ، انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف لینگویجز اینڈ کلچرل اسٹڈیزکا قیام، جامعہ کے لیے عالمی معیار کے پرنٹنگ پریس کا قیام، سیاحت کے دیر پا فروغ کے لیے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ٹورازم اینڈ سسٹیبل کا قیام، ڈائریکٹریٹ آف آئی یو بی سکول سسٹم کا قیام، فیکلٹی ٹریننگ سنٹر کا قیام، انیبلنگ سنٹر کا قیام، کیریئر کونسلنگ اور پلیسمنٹ سنٹر،ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف لینڈ ریکارڈ کا قیام، ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف فنڈ ریزنگ اینڈ یونیورسٹی ایڈوانسمنٹ کا قیام، آفس آف فیکلٹی انڈسٹریل انگیجمنٹ کا قیام، انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کلچر اینڈ ہیریٹیج سنٹر کا قیام، صادق دوست ایگزیکٹو کلب کا قیام، کمیونٹی براڈ کاسٹنگ (ریڈیو اینڈ ٹی وی) پروجیکٹ کا قیام شامل ہیں۔ اجلاس میں نواب سر صادق محمد خان عباسی پنجم چیئر کو فعال کرنے کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ علامہ اقبال کی تعلیمات کی عالمی سطح پر فروغ کے لیے شعبہ اقبالیات کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ اسی طرح خواجہ غلام فرید چیئر کو فعال کرنے کے لیے اقدمات کی منظوری دی گئی۔ طبیہ کالج بہاول پور کو اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں شامل کرنے کی منظوری دی گئی۔اس کے علاوہ طلباء وطالبات کے لیے وظائف کی تعداد میں اضافے کے لیے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف فنانشل اسسٹنس اور جامعہ اسلامیہ کو بین الاقوامی سطح پر روشناس کرانے اور بین الاقوامی روابط کے فروغ کے لیے انٹرنیشنل لنکجز ڈائریکٹریٹ کے قیام کی منظوری دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں فیکلٹی ڈینزاور چیئر مین شعبہ جات کی تعیناتی کی منظوری دی گئی۔اس طرح لیبارٹری، سیکورٹی اور دیگر سپورٹنگ سٹاف کے لیے سروس اسٹرکچر کی منظوری بھی دی گئی۔ گزشتہ سلیکشن بورڈز کی جانب سے بھی کی گئی سفارشات کے مطابق فیکلٹی ممبران اور افسران کی تعیناتی کی منظوری دی گئی۔گزشتہ اکیڈمک کونسل میں کیے گئے فیصلوں کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف نرسنگ اور انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن سائنسز کے نئے ناموں کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں دیگر انتظامی معاملات بھی زیر غور آئے اور یونیورسٹی میں جاری نصابی وہم نصابی اور ترقیاتی سرگرمیوں اور تدریس وتحقیق کے معار میں اضافے، داخلوں کے غیر معمولی رحجان اور مقبولیت کو بھی سراہاگیا
