A Financial Management Committee has been constituted in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur under the direction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Naveed Akhtar. According to the notification issued by the Directorate of Academics, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar Institute of Physics is the convener of this committee, other members included are Prof. Dr. Areeba Khan Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Hassan Mujtaba Nawaz Saleem Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Sohail Saeed Department of Accounting and Finance, Dr. Atif Baloch Department of Economics, Dr. Kashif Imran Department of Commerce and Treasurer Secretary. The Financial Management Committee will give an economic plan for long-term financial stability keeping in view the University resources and budget and recommend measures for its implementation. In the light of these suggestions, steps will be taken to increase the income of the university and reduce the expenses. The annual budget will be adjusted based on resources and income. Relevant proposals for better financial management and amending rules will be framed for the approval of the Syndicate. The committee will review the annual audit accounts and present factual financial details. It will offer concrete suggestions on matters like better investments and obtaining financial loans. Financial analysis of important projects of the university will be done and suggestions will be made. This committee will provide technical and practical support in decision making to the Vice Chancellor and senior management for the long term financial sustainability of the University.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی ہدایت پر ایک فنانشل مینجمنٹ کمیٹی تشکیل دی گئی ہے۔ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اکیڈمکس کی جانب سے جاری کیے گئے نوٹیفیکیشن کے مطابق پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدار انسٹی ٹیوٹ آفس فزکس اس کمیٹی کے کنوینئر ہیں، دیگر ارکان میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اریبہ خان شعبہ مینجمنٹ سائنسز، ڈاکٹر حسن مجتبیٰ نواز سلیم شعبہ مینجمنٹ سائنسز، ڈاکٹر سہیل سعید شعبہ اکاونٹنگ اینڈ فنانس، ڈاکٹر عاطف بلوچ شعبہ اکنامکس، ڈاکٹرمحمد کاشف عمران شعبہ کامرس اور خزانہ دار سیکریٹری شامل ہیں۔ فنانشل مینجمنٹ کمیٹی یونیورسٹی وسائل اور بجٹ کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے دیرپا معاشی استحکام کے لئے معاشی پلان دے گی اور اس کے نفاذ کے لئے اقدامات تجویز کرے گی۔ ان تجاویز کی روشنی میں یونیورسٹی کے ذرائع آمدن میں اضافے اور اخراجات میں کمی و کفایت شعاری کے لئے اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔ سالانہ بجٹ کو وسائل اور آمدن کے لحاظ سے اَزسر نو ترتیب دیا جائے گا۔ بہتر مالیاتی نظم ونسق کے لئے متعلقہ تجاویز وترمیمی قوانین کو سینڈیکیٹ کی منظوری کے لئے مرتب کیا جائے گا۔ کمیٹی سالانہ آڈٹ اکاونٹس  کا جائزہ لے کر حقائق پر مبنی مالیاتی تفصیلات پیش کرے گی ۔ بہتر سرمایہ کاری اورقرضوں کے حصول جیسے معاملات پر ٹھوس تجاویز پیش کرے گی۔ یونیورسٹی کے اہم منصوبوں کی مالیاتی تجزیہ کاری کر کے ان کو عملی شکل دینے کے لئے تجاویز پیش کی جائیں گی۔ یہ کمیٹی حقیقی بنیادوں پر یونیورسٹی کے دیر پا مالی استحکام کے لئے وائس چانسلر اور سینئر مینجمنٹ کی فیصلہ سازی میں تکنیکی اور عملی معاونت کرے گی۔
