A Free Veterinary Treatment Camp was organized at Mandi Maweshian, Bahawalpur, by the Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum, with the active participation of faculty members, students, para-veterinary, and supporting staff. During the three-day camp, more than 200 animals were examined and provided free treatment, consultation, and preventive healthcare services. Guidance regarding the care, disease prevention, feeding, handling, and management of sacrificial animals was also provided to livestock owners. Animal sellers and buyers appreciated the initiative and benefited from veterinary advice on the welfare and management of sacrificial animals. Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chairman Clinical Medicine and Surgery expressed gratitude to various veterinary pharmaceutical companies, including Selmore Pharmaceutical, Animal Life Care, Star Laboratories (Pvt.) Ltd., Nawan Laboratories, and HAK Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. for sponsoring medicines, including Panaflex, for the successful conduct of the camp. Prof. Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Dean Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences appreciated the department’s efforts and highlighted the importance of such outreach activities in promoting livestock health and welfare during Eid-ul-Adha.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے شعبہ کلینکل میڈیسن اینڈ سرجری، فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز کے زیر اہتمام منڈی مویشیاں، بہاولپور میں عید الاضحیٰ کے موقع پر مفت ویٹرنری علاج کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ یہ کیمپ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالقیوم کی نگرانی میں منعقد کیا گیا جس میں فیکلٹی ممبران، طلباء، پیرا ویٹرنری اور معاون عملہ نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔ تین روزہ کیمپ کے دوران 200 سے زائد جانوروں کا معائنہ کیا گیا اور انہیں مفت علاج، مشاورت اور احتیاطی صحت کی خدمات فراہم کی گئیں۔ مویشی مالکان کو قربانی کے جانوروں کی دیکھ بھال، بیماریوں سے بچاؤ، خوراک، اور انتظام کے حوالے سے بھی رہنمائی فراہم کی گئی۔ جانوروں کے بیچنے والوں اور خریداروں نے اس اقدام کو سراہا اور قربانی کے جانوروں کی فلاح و بہبود اور انتظام سے متعلق ویٹرنری مشورہ سے استفادہ کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالقیوم چیئرمین کلینیکل میڈیسن اینڈ سرجری نے مختلف ویٹرنری فارماسیوٹیکل کمپنیوں کا شکریہ ادا کیا، جن میں سیلمور فارماسیوٹیکل، اینیمل لائف کیئر، سٹار لیبارٹریز (پرائیویٹ) لمیٹڈ، نوان لیبارٹریز، اور ایچ اے کے فارماسیوٹیکلز (پرائیویٹ) لمیٹڈ شامل ہیں۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر خالد منصور، ڈین فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز نے شعبے کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور عید الاضحیٰ کے دوران لائیو سٹاک کی صحت اور بہبود کے فروغ کے لیے اس طرح کی آؤٹ ریچ سرگرمیوں کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا۔
