A seminar on Agro-finance and Entrepreneurship was organized at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur

A seminar on Agro Finance and Entrepreneurship was organized by the National Institute of Banking and Finance, a subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan, at the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for the faculty and students. The aim of the seminar was to provide awareness about innovation and self-employment opportunities in the agricultural sector. On this occasion, Yahya H. Wahla, Agri Business Head of Bank Alfalah Limited, gave a detailed discussion on the rapid development in the agriculture sector to modern technology and the opportunities related to them. He said that agricultural students can bring prosperity in their lives through entrepreneurship as well as take the country's agricultural economy to the peak. Joint Director National Institute of Banking and Finance, State Bank of Pakistan, Mubashir Tayyab said that the State Bank of Pakistan is at the forefront of promoting employment opportunities and self-employment for the youth. Now it is the responsibility of the youth to take advantage of these opportunities. Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi appreciated the organization of the seminar at the university by the State Bank of Pakistan. He said that the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment is playing a significant role in the development of agriculture in the region. Our agricultural scientists are also providing their services for the success of the Green Pakistan Project of the Government of Pakistan in Cholistan. Focal Person Dr. Adnan Bukhari Additional Director Students Affairs thanked NIBAF and the State Bank for organizing the seminar. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rashid Ali, Prof. Dr. Wajid Jatoi, Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, teachers and students in large numbers were present.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے ذیلی ادارے نیشنل انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بینکنگ اینڈ فنانس کے زیر اہتمام فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں فیکلٹی اور طلبا و طالبات کے لیے ایگرو فنانس اور انٹرپرینیورشپ کے موضوع پر سیمینار منعقد کیا گیا۔ سیمینار کا مقصد زراعت کے شعبے میں جدت اور خود روزگار کے مواقعوں سے متعلق آگاہی فراہم کرنا تھا۔ اس موقع پر بینک الفلاح لمیٹڈ کے ایگری بزنس ہیڈ یحییٰ ایچ واہلہ نے زراعت کے شعبے میں جدید ٹیکنالوجی کی بدولت تیزی سے رونما ہونے والی ترقی اور ان سے متعلق مواقعوں پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ زراعت کے طلبہ انٹرپرینیورشپ سے اپنی زندگیوں میں خوشحالی کے ساتھ ساتھ ملکی زرعی معیشت کو بھی بام عروج پر پہنچا سکتے ہیں۔ جوائینٹ ڈائریکٹر نیشنل انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بینکنگ اینڈ فنانس اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان مبشر طیب نے کہا کہ نوجوانوں کے لیے روزگار کے مواقعوں، خود روزگار کے فروغ کے لیے اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان پیش پیش ہے۔ اب یہ نوجوانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ ان مواقعوں سے فائدہ اٹھائیں۔ ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی نے اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کی جانب سے جامعہ میں سیمینار کے انعقاد کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ علاقے میں زرعی ترقی کے لیے نمایاں کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ ہمارے زرعی سائنسدان چولستان میں حکومت پاکستان کے گرین پاکستان پراجیکٹ کی کامیابی کے لیے بھی اپنی خدمات فراہم کر رہے ہیں۔ فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر عدنان بخاری ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افئیرز نے سیمینار کے انعقاد پر نباف اور اسٹیٹ بینک کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر راشد علی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر واجد جتوئی ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد،اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات کثیر تعداد میں شریک تھے۔
