Bahawalpur () A series of events are going on to celebrate Pakistan Day with enthusiasm and national spirit. On this occasion, celebrations have been going on for a week in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. A seminar was organized on the theme of Pakistan Day in Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus, Bahawalpur. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Rao Imran Habib, Chairman Department of Political Science Prof. Dr. Syed Musawar Hussain Bukhari, Director of Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Director of Information Bahawalpur Dr. Nasir Hameed, Additional Director of Students Affairs Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari, Advisor IUB Kashmir and Idea of Pakistan Society, Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur Rehman, Director Media and Public Relations Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Farjad Faiz, faculty members and a large number of students were present. Under the direction of Director Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, various societies organized competitions. Under the supervision of Advisor IUB Art and Photography Society Farjad Faiz, painting, poster and sketch competitions were held in which Ayesha Amjad won first position, Tariq ul Islam and Zaratasha Khan won second position and Areeba Azhar won third position. Similarly, Afaf Khan won the first position, Warda Sundus and Huma Iqbal won the second position and Musfira Zainab and Mahfooz Ali won the third position in the poster competition. In the sketch competition, Muhammad Ramadan won the first position, Aisha Razia and Muhammad Nauman won the second position and Alina Muqdas and Bilal Amir won the third position. Under the supervision of advisor IUB Performing Arts Society Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, the song and drama competitions were held. Shahzeb Khan got the first position while Owaisur Rehman got the second position and Waqas Iqbal got the third position in the song competition. Similarly, Haroon Akhtar's team won the first position while Sania Sajid's team won the second position in the drama competition. Under the supervision of Advisor IUB Literary Society Dr. Mazhar Hussain, Urdu and English essay writing competitions were held in which Muhammad Abdullah Zulfiqar won the first position, Muhammad Zeeshan the second position and Maryam Sajid the third position in the English essay competition. Faisal Jameel won the first position, Bisma Zahid won the second position and Alyan Ashiq won the third position. Advises IUB Debating Society under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Asif Urdu and English debate competitions were held in which Ali Umar Arsalan won the first position, Mehr Mohammad Danish second and Shafa Saleem the third position in the Urdu debate competition while in the English debate competition Alina Shahid got the first position, Zofishan Irshad got the second position and Maryam Ijaz got the third position. At the end of the seminar, certificates were distributed among the students who got the position.

بہاول پور () یوم پاکستان کو جوش و خروش اور ملی جذبے کے تحت منانے کے لیے تقریبات کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ اس موقع پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں تقربات ہفتہ بھر سے جاری ہیں۔ یوم پاکستان کے موضوع پر غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال عباسیہ کیمپس بہاول پور میں سیمینار منعقد کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف لاء پروفیسر ڈاکٹر راؤ عمران حبیب، چیئرمین شعبہ پولیٹیکل سائنس پروفیسر ڈاکٹرسید مصور حسین بخاری، ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف، ڈائریکٹر انفارمیشن بہاول پور ڈاکٹر ناصر حمید، ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز ڈاکٹر محمد عدنان بخاری، ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی کشمیر اینڈ نظریہ پاکستان سوسائٹی، رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن، ڈائریکٹر میڈیا اینڈ پبلک ریلیشنز شہزاد احمد خالد، فرجاد فیض، فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء وطالبات کی بڑی تعداد موجود تھی۔ ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف کی ہدایت پر مختلف سوسائٹیوں نے مقابلہ جات کا اہتمام کیا۔ ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی آرٹ اینڈ فوٹوگرافی سوسائٹی فرجاد فیض کی زیر نگرانی پنٹنگ، پوسٹر اور سکیج کے مقابلے منعقد ہوئے جس میں پینٹنگ کے مقابلے میں عائشہ امجد نے پہلی، طارق الاسلام اور زرتاشہ خان نے دوسری اور عریبہ اظہر نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اسی طرح پوسٹر کے مقابلے میں عفاف خان نے پہلی، وردہ سندس اور ہما اقبال نے دوسری اور مسفیرہ زینب اور محفوظ علی نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ سکیچ کے مقابلے میں محمد رمضان نے پہلی، عیشاء رضیہ اور محمد نعمان نے دوسری اور علینا مقداس اور بلال عامر نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی پرفارمنگ آرٹس سوسائٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبین کی زیر نگرانی ملی نغمہ اور ڈرامہ کے مقابلے منعقد ہوئے جس میں ملی نغمہ کے مقابلے میں شاہ زیب خان نے پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی جبکہ اویس الرحمان نے دوسری اور وقاص اقبال نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اسی طرح ڈرامہ کے مقابلے میں ہارون اختر کی ٹیم نے پہلی جبکہ ثانیہ ساجد کی ٹیم دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ ایڈوائزر آئی یوبی لٹریری سوسائٹی ڈاکٹرمظہر حسین کے زیر نگرانی اردو اور انگریزی مضمون نویسی کے مقابلے منعقد ہوئے جس میں انگریزی مضمون نویسی کے مقابلے میں محمد عبداللہ ذوالفقار نے پہلی، محمد ذیشان نے دوسری اور مریم ساجد نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اسی طرح اردو مضمون نویسی کے مبالے میں فیصل جمیل نے پہلی، بسمہ زاہد نے دوسری اور الیان عاشق نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ ایڈوائززآئی یو بی ڈیبیٹنگ سوسائٹی ڈاکٹر محمد آصف کے زیر نگرانی اردو اور انگریزی مباحثوں کے مقابلے منعقد ہوئے جس میں اردو مباحثے کے مقابلے میں علی عمر ارسلان نے پہلی، مہر محمد دانش نے دوسری اور شفع سلیم نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی جبکہ انگریزی مباحثے کے مقابلے میں علینہ شاہد نے پہلی، زوفیشان ارشاد نے دوسری اور مریم اعجاز نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ سیمینار کے اختتام پر پوزیشن حاصل کرنے والے طلباو طالبات میں اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں۔
