A Student, A Tree campaign has been launched at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur

A Student, A Tree campaign has been launched at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, while inaugurating the tree planting campaign, said that under the Prime Minister's Clean and Green Pakistan Vision, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Green Campus Project and under the Department of State Care and Space Management, tree planting will be done in all the campuses. Under this campaign, 6,000 saplings will be planted in the campus during the next one week and students will be fully guided and encouraged. On this occasion, Dr. Abid Rasheed Gill said that under this program, every student will plant a sapling on the campus at the beginning of the BS program and during his academic period. He will be responsible for the care of this plant. For this purpose, each student will be given extra marks.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں ایک طالب علم،ایک درخت مہم کا آغاز ہو گیا۔پروفیسرڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے شجرکاری مہم کا افتتاح کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیرِاعظم پاکستان کلین اینڈگرین پاکستان ویژن کے تحت اس مہم میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور گرین کیمپس پروجیکٹ اور شعبہ اسٹیٹ کئیراینڈ سپیس منیجمنٹ کے تحت تمام کیمپسز میں شجرکاری کی جائے گی۔اس مہم کے تحت کیمپس میں اگلے ایک ہفتے کے دوران 6ہزارپودے لگائے جائیں گے اور طلباء کی مکمل رہنمائی اور حوصلہ افزائی کی جائے گی۔اس مہم کے ذریعے ہم کلائمیٹ چینج کے منفی اثرات کا تدارک کر کے بہتر ماحول کی جانب قدم بڑھائیں گے۔اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر عابد رشید گِل کا کہنا تھا کہ اس پروگرام کے تحت ہر طالب علم بی ایس پروگرام کے آغاز پر کیمپس میں ایک پودا لگائے گا اور اپنے تعلیمی دورانیئے میں اس پودے کی دیکھ بھال کاذمہ دار ہو گا۔اس مقصد کے لئے ہر طالب علم کو اضافی نمبر بھی دیے جائیں گے۔
