A three-day workshop on the topic of family and parent education organized by the IUB has started

A three-day workshop on the topic of family and parent education organized by the Department of Education the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has started. The workshop was organized according to the vision of the Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. The Vice Chancellor in his message said that a strong family is essential for a healthy and active society and the university is playing a key role in social and economic development through community building. Prof. Dr. Irshad Hussain Dean Faculty of Education said that this workshop is unique in its nature and scope because parents are the participants of this workshop. This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of children of all age groups to make them aware of their roles and responsibilities. They were taught to inculcate parenting values, develop parenting skills in child development and well-being, and educate parents about the importance of communication with their children. Prof. Dr. Sophia Farrukh, Principal, Quaid-i-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Faiz ul Hasan Naseem, Dr. Abu Huzaifa Neuropsychologist and Dr. Abdul Sattar give special lectures in the workshop and inform the participants about community building and family well-being and activation.

شعبہ ایجوکیشن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام خاندان اور والدین کی تعلیم کے موضوع پرتین روزہ ورکشاپ کا آغاز ہو گیا۔ ورکشاپ کا انعقاد وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کے ویژن کے مطابق کیا گیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا ہے کہ صحت مند اور فعال معاشرے کے لیے مضبوط خاندان ضروری ہے اور یونیورسٹی سماجی اور معاشی ترقی میں کمیونٹی بلڈنگ کے ذریعے کلیدی کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ شعبہ ایجوکیشن ورکشاپس، سیمینارز اور کانفرنسز منعقد کرکے قومی اور بین الاقوامی سطح کے مسائل کو اجاگر کیا ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایجوکیشن نے بتایا کہ یہ ورکشاپ اپنی نوعیت اور دائرہ کار میں منفرد ہے کیونکہ والدین اس ورکشاپ کے شرکاء ہیں۔ یہ ورکشاپ بچوں کے والدین اور دیکھ بھال کرنے والوں کے لیے مرتب کی گئی ہے جس میں تمام عمر کے گروپوں پر توجہ مرکوز کی گئی ہے تاکہ انھیں ان کے کردار اور ذمہ داریوں کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا جا سکے۔ انہیں والدین کی اقدارسے آراستہ کرنا، بچوں کی نشوونما اور ان کی فلاح و بہبود میں والدین کی مہارتیں پیدا کرنا اور والدین کو اپنے بچوں کے ساتھ بات چیت کی اہمیت کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا گیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر صوفیہ فرخ پرنسپل قائداعظم میڈیکل کالج بہاولپور، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فیض الحسن نسیم، ڈاکٹر ابو حذیفہ نیورو سائیکالوجسٹ اور ڈاکٹر عبدالستار ورکشاپ میں خصوصی لیکچر دیں گے اور شرکاء کو معاشرے کی تعمیر اور خاندان کی بھلائی اور فعال کرنے سے متعلق آگاہ کریں گے۔
