An MoU was signed between IUB and District Hospital Lodhran for clinical training of male and female students

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Department of Physical Therapy, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and District Hospital Lodhran for clinical training of male and female students. In this regard, a special ceremony was held at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. The agreement document was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar and MS District Hospital Lodhran Dr. Aurangzeb. Chairman Physical Therapy Department Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Prof. Dr. Raees Akhtar, Chairman Medical Lab Department, Dr. Irfan Siddiqui Physiotherapist District Health Hospital Lodhran, Faculty members Dr. Ayesha Bashir, Dr. Afifa Latif and Dr. Nasir Mehmood were present on this occasion. The participants hailed the agreement and said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is making significant progress in the field of allied health sciences and facilities are being provided to the students in local hospitals for practical training, which will increase their professional skills.

ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف فزیکل تھراپی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور ڈسٹرکٹ ہسپتال لودھراں کے مابین طلباء وطالبات کو کلینیکل ٹریننگ کے لیے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ اس سلسلے میں خصوصی تقریب بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوئی۔ معاہدے کے دستاویز پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر اور ایم ایس ڈسٹرکٹ ہسپتال لودھراں ڈاکٹر اورنگزیب نے دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر ڈین انجینئرنگ فیکلٹی انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد، ڈائریکٹر اورک پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عاطف، چیئرمین شعبہ فزیکل تھراپی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسد اللہ مدنی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رئیس اختر چیئرمین شعبہ میڈیکل لیب، ڈاکٹر عرفان صدیقی فزیو تھراپسٹ ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ ہسپتال لودھراں، فیکلٹی ممبران ڈاکٹر عائشہ بشیر، ڈاکٹر عفیفہ لطیف اور ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود موجود تھے۔ شرکاء نے معاہدے کو خوش آئند قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورالائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز میں نمایاں پیش رفت کا مظاہرہ کررہی ہے اور طلباء و طالبات کو عملی تربیت کے لیے مقامی ہسپتالوں میں سہولیات باہم پہنچائی جارہی ہے جس سے ان کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں میں اضافہ ہوگا۔
